In our quest to learn more about the history of our community, the 3H Crew walked to Greenfield Hall, home of the Haddonfield Historical Society. We learned many facts about what life was like in the 1700-1800s while touring the first and second floor. The basement was filled with an amazing antique tool collection and the attic contained many old toys, sports equipment, and interesting items like a sit tub and a weasel. During the tour, each 3rd grader took a turn in "churning" butter. After the tour, we all were treated to homemade cornbread topped with our "churned" butter. The 3H Crew enjoyed a game of Red Rover on the back lawn before we headed back to school. We ended the morning by having a picnic lunch in our classroom.

Our local historical society dropped off some "mystery artifacts" and the 3H Crew got to work figuring out what these items are and what they have to do with the history of our community. Check out the Google Slide presentation they created.

Also, are ready to learn a new way to multiply double digit problems? Well, you might want to grab a pencil and paper and try out lattice multiplication!
