While Skyping with Ms. Massard's 3rd graders from Michigan and Ms. Bery's 3rd graders from Massachasetts, the 3H Crew collected data. My students were curious about favorite sports, animals, and candy. When finished, they graphed the results. Click on the photo below to see all of the graphs.

To help us learn about what our community was like in the 1700s, each of the 3H Crew became an apprentice to a master craftsman (who was an actual resident of Haddonfield in the 1700's) The apprentices used modern tools (iPads and laptops) to learn all about their trade. Each apprentice created a poster and then used the Explain Everything app to share what they learned.

The 3H Crew just finished a unit on biographies. Our culminating activity was a BioBash. Each student dressed and portrayed their famous person in front of classmates and invited guests. The 3H Crew portrayed presidents, artists, athletes, astronauts, scientists, and even a saint. The presentations were impressive - you could tell that each student was well prepared and had learned a lot while preparing for the BioBash. Click the photos below to see the accompanying projects that went along with the presentation.
