Zaebo Goes Down

“Tick, tick, tick.” I dropped the small, metal bomb onto the sticky, tar road.

I’m Bob and I am on the run from the hopeless police after several robberies. On my small brown nose I have a big black mole, my eyes are gleaming blue. After dropping the bomb, I had to run for my dear life. Vaguely, I could still hear the bomb ticking, and I had five minutes before the small town of Zaebo would blow up, into millions of pieces.

In the bare street I heard people calling “Run Forest run,” as I was running as fast as lightning.

Found it, my run-away car. This was no ordinary car it was gleaming midnight blue with speed as fast as lightning.

Three minutes until the bomb would destroy everything in Zaebo. I drove to the east to find police traps in every single direction. Dam!! I was dead meat! My bomb watch counted down until the bomb blew up.

10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, BANG! I could hear it 7km away from where it was placed. But wait, everything shook like an earthquake. I’d better get out and run for safe land. Police swarmed in on me as I pounced out of the car like a lunatic. It was too late, they knew it was me. “Don’t give up” I pleaded to myself. Got it! I’ll trick them.

“Look there’s a plane!” Every single cop looked up into the bright blue sunny sky. This was my best moment.

I sprinted, got in my car and floored it.”Yes!” I was safe. Wow, that’s how a pro does it. Suddenly the radio screamed on giving me a scary fright.

“To breaking news, a bomb the size of a rugby ball has blown up the old, small, town of Zaebo. We don’t have any more information yet but will bring you the latest”.

I couldn’t believe my eyes, I’ve made it.

Finally, I arrived home and my partner said “How was it?”

“Man oh man. It was so so good, everything went to plan like a puzzle and here I am back at my cuddly, warm house. That’s how you cut the population the simple way! The amazing thing is I killed 2,000 people and I’m still on my amazing freedom run away. Yes. Yes. And YES”.

I would strongly recomend Topgear The book. By The topgear team.


I would recomend this book because it is funney and cool.


This book would be good for all people that like car's and like interactive stuff in books.

Solve word problems involving decimals and fractions.


To do this I will work as hard as i can and have a googd attitude to learning.

Science Road Show 2010

 Today we went to the Science Road Show at one of the schools in Rotorua. Meeting us there when after we hoped off the bus was some of the hosts. There they took us in to the school hall were we had a science show with explosions.The great hosts said we could go to the exibits. sadly I did not get to see everything. Again at the end we had another show. It was a really fu day and I enjoyed it. When we got back to school we had a speedey morning tea and started our work.

This year so far has been a fun year and have enjoyed it. I have got into G.A.T.E for two terms. I really enjoy doing maths and tackling the tasks that have been given to me. I try my best and like having a bit of fun.
