We are a kindergarten classroom in Saskatchewan, Canada. We will go on many adventures this year to learn about animals, weather, the Earth and much more!
As an addition to our science unit on living things we took a trip to the Science Centre. While we were there the students were able to tour around looking at all the exhibits such as the bubble centre, the hot air balloon, the weather stations, and the hockey exhibit. We also took part in a workshop where the students were able to see and touch actual animals. They met a ferret named Nico, a tree frog named Bubba and a gecko named Gizmo. It was a very fun day and the kids just didn't want to leave.
