We are a kindergarten classroom in Saskatchewan, Canada. We will go on many adventures this year to learn about animals, weather, the Earth and much more!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful thanksgiving. Last week we started preparing the students for thanksgiving. On Monday we made a cornucopia for out bulletin board. Each student was able to colour some fruits and vegetables to go into the cornucopia. I had asked each student what they were thankful for and wrote it on the fruit. (See your child's name for theirs). Tuesday we started a turkey craft but because I was home sick on Wednesday we were not able to finish it. On Thursday we had our thanksgiving litergy and we also made a short video about what we were thankful for as a class. Thursday was also the day we had our pie in the face assembly. We did not raise quite enough money for Mr. K to shave his head, however, since we were so close he decided to puff it up into an afro!
