Foxton Champs
There I was flying over the 80cm high show-hunter jumps. The tidy set out jumps contained small brush, flowers, dark tree like poles and small pruned trees that decorated the jumps. The trial was based in Reporoa and the recent trial was 1 week back exactly from now at Hannah’s Bay Pony Club. This trial requires skill, accuracy, smooth flowing movement, right leads and the correct amount of strides of what has been set and marked. Well now let’s go back to last week. I was nervous, the grounds were wet and Mrs. Watson’s truck who which I had come with was stuck. Anyway I had good rounds and I had came 2nd, 4th and fourth again. This week I set out criteria to achieve many things. Well I achieved that as you can tell because I got three 1st and one 2nd and that’s out of off 4 events. I actually did 90cm also as well as 80cm, THAT’S MY WEEKEND STORY. Oop’s I forgot to I mention that Ellis and I got selected for the Rotorua Team that is going to get taught by very good tutors and represent Rotorua in the Foxton North Island Champs in October. Excited! Yee ha!
