This week we were given an assignment to compare and contrast good and bad powerpoints of bacteria and viruses.  I found 4 good powerpoints and 3 really bad powerpoints.  The 4 good powerpoints were not hard to understand and not boring at all.  The 3 bad powerpoints most of them were very graphic because they showed pictures of what viruses and bacteria do to your body and it is not a pretty site and others were hard to understand.  Powerpoint 4 of the good powerpoints was good but sometimes you got a little lost.  Powerpoint 3 of the good powerpoints was good but it also got a little confusing at some points.  Powerpoint 2 of the good powerpoints was good and fun (mainly because it was a Jeoprady game) but it had no pictures or fun backgrounds.  Finally powerpoint 1 was good because it was easy  to understand and it was fun too.  The 3rd powerpoint was bad because it was very bad and really hard to understand.  The 2nd powerpoint that was bad was bad because it was very scientific and hard to understand at some points in the powerpoint.  The 1st powerpoint that was bad was very graphic and i would suggest not looking at it all!  All in all the best powerpoint that I saw was powerpoint 1 from the good powerpoints.  It gave you information that people could easily understand and it got my attention, and if it can get my attention, it can definetaly get yours.

Today in class we took a virtural tour of the Supreme Court and it was pretty.  It has a lot of beautiful articheture inside and out.  on the outside it has a lot of beautiful founians and two huge statues that are called the Contemplation of Justice and the Authority of Law.  They are really detailed and beautiful.  When you go in side of the Supreme Court you are in this huge hall and on the sides of the hall are a lot of busts of people.  I don't know who they are, but I think that they are busts of former Supreme Court Justices.  Also on the inside it has a lot of beautiful articheture too.  When you finally get into the court room it is huge and really cool.  It has a whole bunch of huge pillars all around the room, and nine chairs in the front of the room.  It also has a lot of beautiful articheture.  In the front of the room, there are two huge American Flags and they are really cool.  That is pretty much all we got to see, but it was really fun and I think everyone should do it to see the beauty of it.  

OK I absoutley LOVE converse.  My shoes are black High-Top converse with hot pink laces.  I think that they are they the best shoes in he world and they are so comfortable.  My favorite kind of converse are the High-Tops because they look really cool.  Last year at a camp that I went to, a friend that I met had a pair of red High-Top converse and they had writing all over them.  She said that she lets anyone at camp write on them, but it was kind of hard to because there was so much writing on them that I had like no place to write!  I don't let anyone write on my converse because I like to keep them nice, but I thought that it was a great idea and I loved it.  But this summmer I am going to get a new pair of converse and I will take them to camp with me and let everyone there sign them.  I won't wear them though because I want to remember all of the fun memories that I had that summer and I want to remember all of my friends that I met there too.

My class today saw some videos from the Consumer Electronic Show, otherwise known as CES.  The device that I thought is going to be the best thing to revolitionize society is the Verozion Home Monitering System.  Say you are in a diffrent room and you forgot to turn off the lights upstairs, all you have to do is get on your TV, phone, or computer and you are able to control your lights by the click of a button. I think that this will help to reduce our energy bills if you are out of town or out of the house and forgot to turn out the lights in our house.  I also think that it is good for elderly people too, because it is sometimes hard for them to get around and if they forget to turn out the lights, this system will help them from walking too much. 

OK so, I watched a TED video about onlne gaming today and I thought that it was pretty good.  The lady that was speaking was really good at getting her point across.  But at the begining of the TED video the lady sounded like she was crazy, but towards the end of the video she started making sense.  Although I don't always agree with her throught the moveie it was really good and I think you should watch it.

We had to a business e-mail and send an e-mail to a business about a good or bad experience we have had there.  I sent an e-mail to a great restraunt called Oishi.  I liked this project because it gave us an experience to write an e-mail to a business and it was really fun too.  When my sister and her class did this some of her classmates got cupons and a whole bunch of free stuff from those businesses.  Anyways it was really fun and I hope to get a cupon too!

Next week our class is going to Camp Wartburg, and I am so excited!  We are going to do alot of fun stuff and I can't wait.  The only bad  thing is that we have to do some homework during this trip, but the homework is really fun because it is all outside and very active.  Well don't forget to post on my blog because I love to see posts on my blog.
