This is a flag I created for Antarctica because it does not have a flag. I wrote the word Antarctica in blue because it stands for the blue skies and the cold weather. I also drew Antarctica with a penguin family in th middle, the penguin family shows the wildlife of Antarctica. I drew the continent in rainbow colors because I think it shows all the colors of other counties flags because no country owns Antarctica. Overall I think my flag resembles Antarctica.

I was randomly given the root word "loc" to illustrate. "Loc' means place. Some examples of the root word "loc" are location, locate and dislocated.

I chose to hide sitting on the clock hand because I thought that if I took my picture while sitting it would look very realistic. I think  it would have been better if the clothes I had on had more color because the clock doesn't have a lot of color either. I enjoyed taking pictures with the camera and using the computer for art class. It was fun to do work on the computer because we rarely do that in art class.

    Some intereesting things I learned about the eye are that humans blink so often each day our eyes are closed for almost  30 minutes. The part of your eye where the color is, is called the Iris which is named after the goddess of the rainbow. You have more light recepters than the amount of people in the united States all in a small space. As you can see the eye is a very interesting thing to learn about.
