goshhhh how much i hate my life!!!i get transported through the air. then I'm deposited hmmmmm?. after all that joy joy I'm lithificated weird i know i like to call weathering, transportation, deposition, and lithification. W.T.D.L. i am made of quartz, and clay minerals and so much more! i know I'm amazing.quartz! then i go through the whole W.T.D.L process again! until i have metamorphised into metamorphic rock obviously.    then once again i go through the process all over again x2

adding one more step to the process, melting, oo oo ouch! oh wait? it i don't feel a thing haha.

so now the steps are W.T.D.L.M so after we are transported and deposition-ed then there's lithification then i am a sedimentary rock then i am metamorphosis's then i am a metamorphic rock then I'm melted AHHHHHHHHHH=http://!! and become magma. then i am crystallized and  then i am finally an igneous rock.

then i am uplifted and i am exposed so after all that i get to do it all over again . and it took me 1 million years to do it!

yeah i know what a life.

reasons for the seasons

Article posted March 31, 2010 at 01:52 PM GMT • comment • Reads 282

Seasons are not caused by the sun changing positions, but by the tilting of the earth axis. Also in the summer when the suns rays hit the earth at an extreme angle causing the warm weather in the Northern hemisphere.reasons for seasons

Solstices are days when the sun hit the farther North causing shorter amounts of sunlight during the day.

Equinoxes are days when day, and night have the same amount of time. The Equinoxes occur when the sun crosses the Celestial Equator.

Spring: the earth tilts at a 23.5 degree angle South of the sun, in the Northern hemisfear. This is called a Vernal Equinox.

Summer: The earth tilts at a 23.5 degree angle East of the sun, in the Northern hemisphere. Summer is called the Summer Solstice.

Fall: The earth tilts at a 23.5 degree angle North of the sun, in the Northern hemisphere. Fall is called the Autumnal Equinox.

Winter: The earth tilts at a 23.5 degree angle west of the sun, in the northern hemisphere. Winter is called the Winter Solstice.

african projects

science: in science class we are doing posters on our assighned animals. my asssigned animal as the seychelles frog. onw of the smallest frogs in the world. the first step in making our poster is filing out a map that shows the area in africa were are animals are found in or were they were previously found in. after you are done with the map you make a food chain showing a picture of your animal showing what your animal eats, and what eats your animal. the third thing we have to put on our poster before we start is a labaled drawing of your animal. when we finish these we can get some colored paper to use a individual backgrounds for the once we finshed all of these things we can get started on our poster. we can do our boarder.

math: in math we are making  african design poster out of shapes that we made and put them in either a translation, rotation, reflection.

techedd: in techedd we are makeing m'bira's which is an african instrument. which is an african finger piano.

langauge arts: in langauge arts we are doing african folktales on animals we chose.

social studies: in social studies we are assighned and do research on the country. and we also get 10,000 dollars to spend a month in africa but we can go over our budget given.
