You're hotter than a blue star, cooler than a red star. When my puples dilate when I see you. you're the

Blue flame to my fire and that is as true as the sun rising in the east and setting in the west. We are

closer than a proton and a neutron and just as hard to separate.

Language Arts: Family Stories

Article posted May 12, 2010 at 04:34 PM GMT • comment • Reads 69

One day in the middle of winter, my dad and his friend decided to skip class. They hiked down behind the school to a frozen stream. They both decided to jump the stream because they did not know how thick the ice was. When my dad jumped, he kicked the ice so that his friend would fall in as a joke how ever they both fell in. It was a long cold walk back to school where they had to WEAR gym shorts for the rest of the day.

The Reason for the Seasons is because of the Earth's tilt and its orbit around the Sun. During the Summer Solstice, the Sun is directly over the Tropic of Cancer. The Northern Hemisphere is experiencing Summer while the Southern Hemisphere is experiencing Winter. During the Fall Equinox, the Sun is directly over the Equator. The Northern Hemisphere is experiencing Fall and the Southern Hemisphere is experiencing Spring. During the Winter Solstice, the Sun is directly over the Tropic of Capricorn. The Northern Hemisphere is experiencing Winter and the Southern Hemisphere is experiencing Summer. During the Spring Equinox, the Sun is directly over the Equator. The Northern Hemisphere is experiencing Spring and the Southern Hemisphere is experiencing Fall.
