United have been learning about measuring lengths. We made paper planes, tested them and measured them out. We had to measure how far they went and each group chose the paper plane they thought would go the furtherest to use in our air show.

We are in the finding out stage for our inquiry. We made carts with wheels that were a variety of shapes and sizes. We tested them out to see how they worked, what shape wheels were better and if the size of the wheel mattered. We found many interesting things from our carts such as the bigger the wheel is the less turns it takes from point "a" to point "b". We took notes of our findings, found some information from books that support our findings and we now need to make sense of our notes and put them into our own words.
