   Once I was camping with my friends and my family. I looked up to the sky and the stars in the sky looked like candles or lights that sparkled around. I wondered where do all these pretty stars come from? It was late at night so we had to go to sleep. My friends and I were scared because my parents were telling us scary stories. We went to sleep and it was so dark out in the wood’s, that only the stars shined and the Moon too.

  It was 12:00 o, clock. I started to hear some walking noises outside in the dark woods. I asked my friends “ did you hear that? ”They said “Yes” in a freaked out voice. I was so scared, I was only 7 years old. So were my friends. I told them, “Lets go out to see what’s wrong. I got a flashlight, looked around and I said, “Don't talk just hear the noise. ”They heard walking, leaves crunching and then it stopped for a while and then, it started again. We all got so scared we wanted to cry.

   So I said “Lets go further in the woods” We did and just our feet crunching the leaves. We went far in the woods. We couldn't find our way back to the tents so my brother woke up and saw our tent was empty. We weren’t there. My brother started to look for us. My bother couldn't find us so he went to tell my dad mom and cousins. They all looked for us. They were so worried about us because my mom and dad and cousin’s couldn’t find us.

We were lost for one day and the whole morning. We started to scream the loudest we could. That didn’t work so well. We put up a little fire, and smoke started to come out. My brother saw the smoke and said, “Look there is some smoke, let’s follow it to see if it leads us to my sister’s friends, and my sister too”. It did. By the time it was 2:30 they found us! We were so happy that they finally found us so we got back to the tents packed up and left back home!.
