G: I’m glad that I have become a stage 6 because I have learnt lots this year in maths.
G: I’m glad that now I know how to use rich language because I have listened to Narnia and I got lots of great ideas.

L: I learnt that I am reading to learn because I have learnt lots of new information in reading.

L: I learnt how decimal numbers work and how fractions work because I have had fun in maths.

P: I promise that I will be on my best behave a for my teacher next year and stay in my seat and finish my work.

the end of the chicken

Article posted November 11, 2010 at 08:29 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 105

One day a crazy, funny chicken was flying a plane however he didn't have a pilot license. He did not know how to fly the plane, but he coped quite well because he just relaxed and flew the plane. He was flying to New York however he did not know where to go and he screamed so loud that he had to block his ears and he let go of the steering wheel. He crashed and found himself in New York and was badly injured. A person in New York bumped the door open and lifted him out and he went to hospital in an ambulance. The sirens were going on the way to the hospital and he died in hospital. He had a funeral.r.i.p.

In the Far Distance

Article posted October 22, 2010 at 07:50 PM GMT0 • comment (1) • Reads 127

In the far distance is a bright shiny moon in a dark blue sky. In front of the moon is a tree as dark as chocolate with twisty tormented branches. Resting on a branch is a lime, lazy lizard. Behind the lizard is a reflective golden egg. In the reflection are some beautiful orange butterflies. I am a monstrous, hard hitting, kick boxing grasshopper trapped inside the golden egg. I need to get out of here because I can’t breathe. I will have to kick and punch my way out for some fresh air. I also need to get out for an event, a kick boxing match with that lazy lizard. He’s so lazy, I’m going to kick his butt. Boof, Dook, Boof! I’m going to make him submit, but not till late in the match so that he’s in an enormous amount of pain. Kick, punch, kick, punch, kick, punch! Yay, now I am out and I can remind that lazy lizard about our match at 12.30 today. That is in an hour so he won’t have time to practise. The referee for this match is the oldest orange butterfly. The butterfly says, “In this corner is Lazy Lizard, weighing in at 500 pounds and in this corner is the hard-core icon, Grasshopper weighing in at 200 pounds! Ding, Ding, Ding! The commentator says, ”A kick to the jaw from the grasshopper. The lazy lizard is unconscious. The grasshopper wins by a knockout. The trophy goes to the grasshopper.” The grasshopper goes back to the horrific mess where his egg is waiting. Lazy lizard’s brother has smashed Grasshoppers egg into tiny bits. But that’s not going to spoil my happy mood!

Red Hot World

Article posted September 15, 2010 at 12:05 AM GMT0 • comment (1) • Reads 154

In a future century there is a suffocatingly , red hot world. There is a triangular, silver castle in the distance and a very tall, bronze structure a couple of kilometres away. Underneath the partly demolished structure there is a quiet, peaceful city. The ground is as red as wine. Above the circular clouds is a beautiful orange sun and a couple of eerie moons. The world around me is still and silent. I can’t hear a thing. It is as if my ears are blocked with black tar.
