Well done to all the children who ran in the Cross Country on Friday. I am very proud of all of you, and those who got a place in the top 3, awesome! Your hard work paid off.

Our Inquiry this term is learning about the World around us. The children have chosen countries/states that they would like to work on and loving our new learning. They will bring home some questions for you to help them work on. If you can support them in this it would be greatly appeciated as the children are working so hard and learning lots!

We are really looking forward to our Maketu trip on Wednesday. We are learning about Ihenga and his journey, so Maketu is a great place to visit, as it is where the Te Arawa waka landed.

Pop into the class any time and check out the learning that is happening!

Thank you to all the parents that attended the 'meet the teacher' evenings as well as Splash Out. It was great meeting you all and getting to know you and your child a bit better.

This is a space to share our learning. The children also use our blog to access learning activities, games and secure websites during class time that I have set up. I do not allow the children to access the internet outside of the blog (unless supervised by an adult). This way I can ensure their safety and monitor what they are being exposed to on the internet.
