Today all of the Year 6 classes from Lynmore went for a whole morning prospective visit to Mokoia Intermediate. We were warmly greeted by the Principal, Mrs Epp, and the two Deputy Principals, Mrs Little and Mrs Hyde. Mrs Hyde used to teach at Lynmore, so most of the children already knew her friendly face! The children were split into groups and got to participate in a whole variety of lessons and activities that they will have as options if they choose to go there in 2011 as Year 7 students! Today Room 3 children had a great time with their buddies. Mrs Stewart and I gave them the task of designing a new school uniform for the year 2050. The children had to be extremely creative, because we gave them only a few pieces of equipment they could use; 2x newspapers and 1m of sellotape..! They did brilliantly! The pictures speak for themselves. Enjoy!
