Today we were cooking rice slices, we were the last group to go so we had to rush to it. The ingredients we needed were honey, sugar, butter and rice bubbles, we then pored three ingredients in the pot, honey, sugar and butter.
Once we had done that we went to the staff room to melt the butter and mix those ingredients together. I was mixing it all together well not really, I was jabbing it to speed it up and it worked to, the butter had melted and looked like melted cheese, but it wasn’t after that we pored the rice bubbles in.
Mrs. Leong then mixed that around because it was a bit to stiff for our group. After that we spread it out let it get a bit harder and then cut it, it was still a bit sticky but I eventually cut it. We had finished cooking it but not eating it because it wasn’t quite morning tea.
The bell had wrung finally I was thinking in my head. As soon as the bell wrung Mr. Morrison jumped in with a big helmet on and huge glasses we all new what he was a snowboarder! (looking for food). We then asked him a phew questions and he was out of here. Wahoo now we get to eat,
It was delicious and really hard but it worked out fine.

In our class we are doing all different kinds of experiments. Some are doing theirs with popcorn and others are doing theirs with jelly. This task has been quite challenging with all the mesurement and weighing. We have to start by doing it with buddies but once we get the hang of it we can do our own.(I'm doing the jelly experiment). We are going to be doing a rainbow coloured jelly which will look quite cool if it turns out all right and hopefully taste delicious. The way of our coloured strips I hope are going to be like this red, orange, yellow, green and blue.

Our planet is called planet Xtravagaza,
It is shaped as an X
It is an awesome planet because you earn free money
Just by getting spanked.
On the planet you can get with your money shru –tack, glop and their everyday food.
There a five humans on the planet because
A space ship went down and crashed it wasn’t to pretty.
The reason why they are still alive is because time never stops.
They use the shru-tack and glop for getting over this gigantic hedge, when you use shru-tack you fling it over the hedge
Hold onto it very tightly and then you are there, as quick as lightning. The glop has just been invented bye professor higgonbottom a nupid they are intelligent and very smart, when you use the glop it is pretty easy you flatten it and then sit on it lean back and then suddenly start bouncing, you lean forward to go forward and lean backwards to go backwards all pretty simple.
That is our planet just like paradise.

Oh no! Looks like I won't be coming home as soon as i thought I would. The reason why I won't be coming back for another week is because there been an eruption in Iceland. The eruption has caused chaos for many people all around Euroupe, people have checked out of their hotels and are now sleeping in the airport, lucky for us we're staying in my grandma and grandad's house while they're in New Zealand. Its all been pretty dramatic but at least I'm enjoying myself. I'll see you next tuesday I hope, if we get the all clear to fly.

Fell running
In England on Sunday my sister Sarah went to the Beatrix Potter museum while I went Fell Running with my cousins. Fell running is nothing like the cross country we do in New Zealand. It's up steep mountains and also very tiring.
Before we went there, we quickly went to the Spar which is like a 4 square to get a drink and a chocolate bar for after the race. I chose two things that we don't have in New Zealand because I thought it might be nice to have something different for a change. The drink was Lucozade and the chocolate bar was double trouble.
By the time we got there it was almost time to start racing, so we quickly signed up, put our numbers on our shirts so that they could make sure nobody got lost, put our special shoes on that had a ton of grip and went to the starting line. It was a flat surface at the start but then it got steeper and steeper with lots of people falling on top of rocks. But they got back up and carried on. It was just about the end of the race and I was coming second to last, but still a pretty good effort for someone not used to running up mountains. That was the position I stayed in for the rest of the race. I was quite happy with my effort. All of the races had finished and it was time for prizegiving. The people who had done 5 races got a medal and a trophy shaped as a shoe. I knew I wasn't going to get one, but I hung around for my two cousins to get theirs. We then went outside to play soccer with some boys, I scored three goals and set up two. My cousin then came rushing out saying Brett come in come in quickly. I had no idea what was happening and then my auntie gave me a medal for being the only kiwi in the race. She kept the trophy for me because she didn't want it to get damaged.
We then had a cream egg lolly scramble and after that it was time to go home. It was a great day in the Lake District spending time with my cousins.

Welcome to the amazing Woodlyn Park that’s where we were all heading after the stunning glow worms that we had just seen.
Once we got to Woodlyn Park in Waitomo we sore heaps of old fashion things and I had a feeling that we were going to see a lot more of cool old fashion things and we did a man was tell us how tough everybody was in the olden days he started off with two volunteers for a two man saw.
The volunteers were James Ross and Andrina they heaved and heaved but they just couldn’t do it until the man sat on the log put his hands on the saw and then there started to be some action but when he stopped they pulled as hard as they could but they just couldn’t do it.
The man had heaps of logs on stage and the next one that he used was a large log because he told us how they got up big trees they used an axe made a big dent into the log rammed a piece of wood into the dent and then he hopped on top of it.
In the olden days they also used these strange computers when they pulled a rope a cow or something would come out but it was a pig and the man had been teaching it some fancy dance moves the move that the pig knew best was the moon walk but the man was holding some food to make it go back.
Finally it was almost finished but the last thing he was doing for his act he needed four brave kids and two adults they had to sheer sheep with a handle that went round and round everybody got a go I said thank you for showing us this cool stuff and we were back to Cambridge.

In the weekends I got a call from my poppa, he asked me if I wanted to go and watch a warriors match in Rotorua,I said yes one million times yes and it was also my first time going to Rotorua.
by the time we got into Rotorua it was only 4:30 and the game was starting at five so he took me for a little tour around Rotorua it was great.
Even though I was loving a wonder around it was time to go to the macth between the sydney roosters and the warriors.
RRRRR the whiste had sounded and we we under way for a great macth, immediately the warriors had rammed up the middle crunch the tackle was hard and i mean hard but they started spreading it out wide then try the crowd went wild.
by the time the game was just about done the score was 26 8 to the warriors the warriors had won and me and my poppa celebrated with macdonalds.
