My Science Pirate Review
Science Pirates is a game designed to teach kids about scientific methods, how to perform experiments, and other valuable things.
I feel that Science Pirates is a fun yet educational game that can help kids learn. In fact, once you get over the annoying music, pointless conversations, and complex puzzles, it is an enjoyable game.
In this game you can learn how to make a hypothesis (ex. Washing your hands with soap and water is better than rinsing them), do an experiment (ex. Finding out which hand washing method is better), and come to a conclusion (ex. Washing your hands with soap and water is in fact better than rinsing them).
You also learn about variables, such as independent variables and dependant variables (ex. A type of hand washing method and the amount of bacteria it left). Another thing learned about is constants, which are things that always stay the same.
