 Helicopter The main thing about a helicopter is that its a flying aircraft. The helicopter has wings that are called blades. Airplanes cannot do things that helicopters can do. Helicopters can move straight up, down, backwards, or sideways. Helicopters can land and take off with out a runway. Helicopters can do lots of things. They can be loaded with water to fight off huge fires. Some helicopters can move huge or large stuff from place to place. They can be used as flying ambulances. But the main thing about a helicopter is that its a flying aircraft.
