Tessa Virtue is 20 years old and is the youngest of 4 children.Her skating partner is Scott Moir and her coaches are Marina Zoueva,Igor Shpilband,and Johnny Johns.Virtue competes in Ice Dance and has won 7 gold ,6 silver,and 2 bronze.Due to an injury to Virtue,she and Moir withdrew from both their Grand Prix events.Virtue has competed in many events such as the world junior championships and the western ontario sectionals.

Kristi Yamaguchi is famous for winning the 1992 olympics and being the first woman to win since 1976. Her career didn't last long though, because she retired in her thirties. Another famous figure skater is Shizuka Arakawa for winning the gold for Japan in 2006. Also being the first figure skater to win gold for Japan.

In the death spiral you don't die. The man just spins really fast in circles while the woman is holding his hand. The woman lies so close to the ground that she has to be careful. Another trick is the axel jump. It is the only jump a skater does while moving forward. In a throw jump the man launches the woman into one of the leaps that are done in single person skating. The ice dance is practically ballroom dancing... but on ice. The ice dance has 3 parts compulsury dance, the original dane, and the free dance.

In figure skating there is a move called the slachow. In the slachow a skater takes off from a back inside edge, and lands on the back outside edge of the opisite foot.

Sometimes in figure skating skater are brother and sister or they fall in love. The they get married. figure skating is a great way to meet new people.

1.I want an ipod touch because it is a fun and virtual way to play games and pass your time when you are bored.Also there's internet so it is like a small computer.Lastly, they are handy when you need to find a restraunt in a hurry.

2.An edible log for my guinea pig because he needs to have a place to hide and eat during the day.He also needs more vitamin C in his diet, so that would be perfect for him.

3.New jeans because I'm running low and I need new ones because they all either don't fit or they have holes in the knees.

4.Leg-warmers because in my dance studio it's very cold during the winter.They are pretty because they come in different colours and patterns.They are also helpful when you are dancing and wearing shorts or a bodysuit.

5.World peace because war is wrong and people are suffering over the loss of others.Also, we have our voices for a reason...to use it.So we should use them instead of weapons.
