It was up to the youngest member of the Canadian contingent would compete in the winter Olympics next month at whistler Olympic park. And, quite frankly, 17-year-old Eric Mitchell had left it a little late He and coach Greagor Linsig had traveled through Europe to ski jump competitions one or two rungs below the world up in hopes of secruing enough qualifying points to reach the olympic standard, which, in turn, would give canada the maximum representation of four jumpers, and which in turn would make canada eligible to compete in the team event. So there they were in Otepaa, Estonia, less than a week before christmas, and basically down to their final opportunity. And, a tricky one at that. It was a hard competition; recalled Mitchell on thursday. "it was really cold, the conditions were all over the place, and it was a new jump that they were testing.

I am doing my Olympic athletes research on a famous figure skater named Anabelle Langlois. Anabelle was born in Grand-Mere, Quebec on July 21, 1981. This means she is only 28 years old and very talented at figure skating. She is only 4 foot 11 inches, which probably makes it easier for her partner, Cody Hay, to lift her into the air. Her former partner, Patrice archetto is probably jealous that Anabelle made it to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver without him. This athlete is only where she is because of the people who helped her! she currently skates in the CPA Hull club, with the coach named Lee Barkell. Her former coaches were Dough Leigh and Shane Denison. Anabelle Langlois will be representing Canada in the 2010 Winter Olympics.
