My Bum

I fell on my bum
And then I went nuts
The bruise was so big
The bruise was so wide
It hurt so much
That it felt like a spike
I went to the doctor and I tried everything
But all he said was “we can’t do anything.”
When I went to school
All I heard were laughs
They were talking about my big puffy pants
I went to the pharmacy and bought a medicine
Which was called: “I can heal anything”
I drank a pill and waited a little
And when I looked at my bum
It was all wrinkled
That’s when I thought there was no way out
Until I stapled my bum
And all the air went out.

Japan Tsunami & Earthquake Reflection

March 11th, 9:00 PST the unexpected happened. A terrible combination of a tsunami and earthquake invaded the lands of Japan, causing the elimination of more than 15,000 people off earth. Innocent, helpless people, babies, workers, washed away, buried in the soil feeling the sadness of being away from their loved ones. One of the strongest earthquakes ever to be experienced on earth, with a magnitude of 8.9 according to the advanced machine, called Richter’s Scale. The Tsunami was the problem; it washed away a town and part of a city called: Sendai. The worst of all was the explosion of two nuclear plants, spreading radiation around Japan and all around the world. The risk of getting radiation is big, because it might mix with clouds and the mixture of radiation and rain will happen. This means that if it rains in the places near Japan and in Japan will get radiation.
I can feel the sadness in the Japanese citizens, losing their family and their loved ones, and all they have left is a destroyed and demolished hometown. Thousands of people with no shelter or food, and the government trying their best to provide them with the supplies needed. Countries sending lots of troops to help Japan, bringing food to them, and specialized people to help find missing, and always, always, hoping for their survival.
Think deeply about all the people who went happily to school hoping for a brighter future but unfortunately they lost their life. They left sadness and sorrow behind and many friendships and loved ones. I got to the conclusion that life is full of miseries and you may not always get what you want. But someday you will have to pass away, in any type of way. But honestly, the worst way to die is being killed by the force of nature. But always remember something, appreciate life, family, and live the moment because someday, when you pass away, you will never comeback. You’ll miss the chance of enjoying your family, friends and mostly, your life.

So much depends
Upon
Trees in forests
Which produce oxygen for the survival of humanity
So much depends
Upon
Glowing light bulbs in the sky
Which will lighten a dark and gloomy night
So much depends
Upon
The first and unique step
Of a journey of a thousand miles
So much depends
Upon
The experience of being weak at something
Which will make you just try harder and harder
And never give up
So much depends
Upon
A poem called So much depends upon
Which will ignite your brain into writing dozens of poems
So much depends
Upon
Brown columns (trees) in a forest
Which produce billions of white rectangles(papers)

Friendship Qualities

|
One of the most important things in life is friendship, when you need help; your friend is there, when you can't solve a problem; your friend is there, when you need someone so you can spill out what you have inside you and talk to him so he can help you; a friend is there, well," a friend in need, is a friend indeed!"
A friend should be trustworthy so we can tell secrets to them and spill what we have inside us.
A friend should always be honest with you in times when you need help, he should tell you what he thinks is better and not what other people say.
A friend should always be on your side supporting you and leading you to the right track.
A friend should never turn his back to his friend, and backstab him by getting another friend and telling him your secrets.
If someone has a doubt, he should take his friends advice and see what he thinks about it.
"A friend is one who walks in, when the world walks out"

Presidential Qualities

Do you think that a fifth grader doesn't know how a president should be, and how he should treat his society? Well if you did then you are wrong! Do you want to know why? Because I am a fifth grader and I know how a president should be.
A president should not be a dictator by stealing money from his country and keeping it for him and his family, or else there will be demonstrations like the ones in Egypt.
He should donate things to unprivileged people like money to public schools, public hospitals, well all public places.
He should build things, places, buildings etc. when they are in need in a country.
He should be nice and caring to his citizens and shouldn’t see them by what they have he should see them by who they are, in fact if the citizen doesn’t have what he should the president or at least the government should make something about it.
A president should always be aware of what's happening around the world because if there are any problems in any other country and the president helps them, obviously the other country will reply, giving the presidents country something or re giving the favor by also helping the presidents country.
A president should always be in favor of peace and not have war with other countries! He should respect all other societies and respect their culture and religion(s).

Dog Attack
Who said that dogs are always nice? Who said that dogs are always friendly? Who said that dogs are always cute? Well that’s what I used to think before that day.
It all started on 07/09/10 on my birthday in Brazil at my cousin's house. We were all playing upstairs and we were very happy. We were playing PlayStation, watching TV, and having lots of fun. We got tired of electronics so we decided to go downstairs play soccer. When we got down I remembered about the ball that was upstairs. So I told my cousins that I would get it.
On my way to the elevator, a boy came out of it with a big furry scary dog to walk him. I was scared of dogs and I still am, so I told I told him "please don’t take the leash off" "Why not?"Asked the boy. I answered "Because I'm scared of dogs "He laughed and instantly took off the leash.
I was shocked; I didn’t know what to do. I panicked so I ran to the garage, I kept on running around the cars in circles for about 5 minutes then I started shouting "Stop, stop I'm scared of dogs=http://!!! " my aunty heard me so she ran directly because she was worried. When she got down she saw that the dog was almost biting me so she went and shouted at the kid, who owns the dog.
The kid didn’t care so I didn’t know what to do. I decided to be brave and turn around to KICK THE DOG RIGHT ON HIS FACE=http://=http://!!
The dog flew for about a meter so I got the chance to run away and hide. Eventually the kid decided to control his dog and apologize. Since that horrifying and shocking day I have a PHOBIA of dogs.

Pele's Biography
"Edson Arantes do Nascimento" my name, I was born on October 23rd 1940 in Tres Coracoes Bauru, Brazil. I am the son of a minor league soccer player which ended his career on a tragic injury on his knee. I was born on an extremely poor neighborhood where the only decent activity to entertain the kids was soccer/football with a half shoelace half carton ball. My father "Dondinho" and I picked the name "Pele", though we don’t know how or why we chose the name. I was trained by my father and soon the reply of why I worked so hard was there. I had my first team on my hometown in Bauru it was called Ameriquinha which means (Little America). It was created by me and my friends. Soon my neighborhood decided sponsor lots of soccer tournaments and by that time I was considered the best of my team. At the age of 15 my mentor or let's say advisor "Waldemar de Brito", brought me to Sao Paulo to try out for the major league teams. I was quickly rejected because of my conditions and age. De Brito then took me to Santos where I earned a spot on the team. There I gained about 60 thousand cruzeiros (about 60$) per month to play for Santos. I made my starting point on my first match against Cerro where the score was 1 x 1 and I scored 1.After months I was the first and most famous soccer legend with Santos, I was invincible. Just ten months after signing professionally I was called up to the national team of Brazil. After the world cup in 62 I was called from many wealthy European clubs like: Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Juventos tried to sign a contract with me, but the government of Brazil did not allow me because I was considered as a national treasure. After the 72nd season (my 17th with Santos) I retired from Brazilian football (1974). Two years later I decided to sign with the New York Cosmos. My last career match was played in the Cosmos stadium between my two life teams Santos X Cosmos. Pele decided to play one half for Santos one half for the Cosmos but the New York Cosmos won the match by 2 X 1.

If Only They Could Speak

Oh what a smell!!! Oh what a smell!!!Could it get any worse and darker over here?
All day long in the closet and when I get the chance to go out here comes the smell, the poo, the pee, the fart all in ONE!!!!
The worst thing is when my owner’s brother decides to wear meoh what a DISASTER!!
The poo (hard waste) and the pee he doesn’t bother cleaning or wiping properly. He farts all day long and at night they don’t even bother putting detergent on ME!!
Oh how I stay happy when I take my bath with Clorox and when I take my hot iron massage.
I just wish I was my dad; my dad gets to be worn by my owner’s father which takes care of him. He doesn’t do his needs on him and he changes it daily and he gets DETERGENT!!!!
That’s not fair. Yesterday my owner went to his friend’s house and they swam in the pool. I choked!! I wasn’t able to breathe. He didn’t even care about me and he knew that I have asthma and bronchitis. And all the time I got stuck in his butt he used to pull me out taking all the dirt with me. Also the other day I was accidentally thrown into the garbage and I’m a Calvin Klein type I come from a very decent and civilized family, I’m a designers gold piece of work. Well after all the work I do for them I just end up in the garbage. Ah, ah honestly, I just wish I could speak ;)
