Soccer The squishy mud on your knees. Hands cold and feel num. Lungs burning, substitute me. Water, tastes so good. The rock solid ball. Feet hurt. Shoot, boing. Hit the crossbar. Game tied. Give it all you got. You’re drenched with sweat. Shoot… is it in or is it in. Looks wide, wait for it, wait for it. The goalkeeper lunges. It’s in! The game winning shot! Soccer, play hard, get dirty.
