My Dog Shelby My dog Shelby was the best dog in the world. In the winter we would go out in the backyard and I would throw the snow up in the air and she would jump up and catch it in her mouth.

Shelby was a German Shepard, not the kinds that are like an orngesh yellow, but the kinds that black on the top and whitish grey on the bottom. She had big brown eyes like me and my mom. Her head was black with tiny bits of white in it.

Sometimes at night my dad would take me and walk her with out my brother knowing. It was kind of dark out every time we went to take her for a walk. But know body seemed to care.

She was a great guard dog, but sometimes she can get a little over loaded. Like this one time in the summer the screen door was the only door that was closed and without the lock. The mail man was coming up are porch to give us are mail but Shelby was lying right behind the screen door. Shelby didn’t really like the mail man so when he got close Shelby broke out of the door and chased the mail man across the street and jumped on somebody’s car. When the mail man jumped he made a dent on the car, and had to pay for it!

But sadly she died just a few weeks after my new baby brother was born.
