Westminster Woods, The Trip When I went to Westminster Woods I had such a great time. My favorite part was when we went on the cargo net. Everyone charged at Mr.LaMarr, except me. I just sat on the net while bunches of people were tripping others with legs caught in the net. My favorite part of all trips was all of the hikes at Armstrong Redwoods. It was fun because we went off-track. Everyone was slipping and falling because it was not paved. We also got to eat starvation foods. Two of them were redwood sorrel and turkey tail. My favorite thing that we learned was that anybody can eat fungi but not all fungi because some are poisonous. My favorite memory from the whole entire trip, that I will remember when I am old and frail, is all of the glow-worms surrounding me on our night hike. When I held one, it squiggled in my hand. When we were walking, the cliff on the side was covered in glowing green dots.

I have so many memories. One of them is going to the tide pools. Nomad, my naturalist, would always be digging then pulling things out of the water. I saw sea stars, octopi, mussels, barnacles, and sea anemones. That isn’t all I saw; I just couldn’t name them all! I just had so much fun at Westminster Woods. It was the best trip ever!
