All the students in room 15 teach and learn from each other. The challenges that are achieved are limited only by the restrictions of their own minds!

If I Was A Miner Mining in the California Gold
Rush
If I mined in the California Gold Rush, I would probably have a hard life. I would have to be watching my back for a thief. Mining tools were expensive to buy sometimes. It might be fun to pan or use a cradle, though it might be hard to learn how if I had never used one. Also some people are thieves, but the judge might think that I was the thief and hang me if I was in Hangtown. I could’ve gotten my hand squished by rocks like other miners did. Really, anything could happen when I was a miner. I really could have a hard life!

If I was a miner in the California Gold Rush I might also have a nice and easy life. I could just be walking to the camp and on the side of the path there would be 50 gold nuggets. Though the tools were expensive, when I used them I could find oodles of gold. The Long Tom normally would get me the most gold. The food that was most common was sowbelly and beans. That would be great for me because food with meat is my favorite. Sometimes it might be boring to have the same thing over and over again, though not for me! Maybe there was some person making pies so I would be in for a treat. Living a miner’s life might be easy too!
