Buxton and Hollis Elementary

Students in grades 2-5 are scheduled for regular computer technology instruction. Classroom teachers attend these computer classes with their students. A technology integrator will co-teach the class with the classroom teacher on an every-other week basis. On the week that the integrator is not there, teachers bring their students to the computer lab in order to continue ongoing work.
In order for the computer technology instruction to be most effective, teachers work together with the technology integrator to plan curricular projects that will enhance students’ academic learning while simultaneously reinforcing key technology skills.

There is a little girl named Jamie and she collects bookmarks. She has 212 of them. Some of them are the same some are different some smell good some don’t smell like anything. Jamie counts them every day and today she counted 200! She was very worried. Then the lunch bell rang. Why aren’t you eating? Asked her best friend Amy who was worried that something happened to her best friend. I can’t find 12 of my bookmarks do you know were they are. Said Jamie. Yes you let me use 6 and your using 6 ha ha ha ha.

Once upon a time there was a guzzle gump named Fuzzy. He is a good boy and he loved all his family but, he loved his grand father the most until, one day he got a letter that read dear fuzzy, your grand father is very sick so instead of me coming your aunt mary is. XOXO Mom. Fuzzy was very upset and sad. When aunt Marie got there they did every thing! Fuzzy said maybe my aunt can be just as fun as grandpa. Later Fuzzy got a letter saying his grandpa had passed away. Fuzzy cried and he was sad but, right there here realized that he shouldn’t pick favorites because someday everyone will pass . He continued not picking favorites and he wasn’t ungrateful any more.

Here comes the ice cream man around the corner. He is always nice.
“Ice cream man ice cream man over here.” said all the kids.
“ Hi kids,” he said.
“Heres one for all of you only $1.00” he said.
“Why ice cream man?”
“My boss told me to sell them for one dollar. My boss will fire me if I don’t sell them for $1.00.”
All the kids walked away from him.
“Come back’” he said. “You can have it for free today.”
The kids came running back to him. The kids were very excited. They came back the next day and the next day and the next day and every day after that.
