The consequences we will have if we keep demanding these resources are for example are that if we keep demand lets say salt then there won’t be as much of that resource for generations to come. Some suggestions on how to limit or reduce the need for these resources are to find things to substitute them. Also if we use the example of the need for salt a solution to limit or reduce the need for that resource is to use healthier things.

My experiences this year were kind of mixed. Some of the things I did I enjoyed them a lot. Other things I have done were not so enjoyable. Some advice I have for you future 7th graders is to listen to your teachers when the are trying to teach you something. The reason i say this is because when you pay attention and listento your taecher you have a better chance of understanding things and you will have a more enjoyable year. Also when you don't understand something ask questions so your teacher can help you understand what you don't understand.

What I Enjoyed This Year

It is almost the end of the 2005-06 school year and we did many enjoyable activities in science as well as some not so enjoyable activities. One of the activities that we did that I thought was enjoyable was when we did the lessons on genetics. I thought it was enjoyable because it was one of the things that actually came easy to me. One of the activities that I did not find very enjoyable were the lessons about cells because that was one of the subjects that didn’t come very easily to me. Some suggestions that I have for Ms. Wilmsen that I think will improve the lessons is to maybe have experiments with models of different cell parts because there are many student that are visual learners that may help them understand the concept of cells more easily.

We have been outside building rain gardens and here is what my experiences were. One of the things I did was I loosened mulch and planted a sunflower. Another thing that I did was I pulled weeds out of the gardens. I had fun because I knew that I was helping the environment. this was a very enjoyable experience for me.

I think that this will effect the future generations of this species in many different ways. One way is that by this female frog ignoring the male frogs mating calls she is postponing the chance of reproduction of this species.

Geneticaly Modified foods

Geneticaly Modified foods are great until you get right down to what is actually in them. I do not think that we should be using GM foods for this reason; people don’t actually pay attention to what is in them. Yes like say you cross a tomato with the genes that help flounder survive in frigid waters, then you can keep the tomatos in the refrigerator longer and they wont go bad, but there are many risks you’re taking GM foods. For example there are many people that could be allergic to the ingredients in the food, and because they are Geneticaly Modified they don’t know that that particular ingredient is in there. ther some benefits to having genetically modified foods, like going back to the tomato example; you can keep tomatoes longer if they are Geneticaly Modified. i think that the government should have rules for GM foods like they have to have labels on GM foods.

What I Think About Blogging

I think that blogging will improve my writing in science because I enjoy typing on the computer rather than writing with pencil and paper.I look forward to being able to comment on other students' work, and other students being able to comment on my work.I think blogging will be different to writing with pencil and paper because a lot of people would be more enthusiastic about their writing if they're able to type it on the computer. Also blogging will be different than writing with pencil and paper because it is easier to delete or change something you don't like or want when your typing as opposed to erasing or starting over with pencil and paper. The benefit of being able to comment on other students blogs is that you can tell them what you you think of their writing.
