I think the most important thing we did this year was the SIMILES because we wouldn't have good  stories if we didn't learn SIMILES. We would kind of embaress our selves on our blog if we didn't learn  SIMILES. I like using similes in my writing.

I think the most important thing weve done this year so far was possesive nouns because they will help us be a better writer in the future. I also think similes are important to with writing and  maby the main idia and details were kind of important to because in the future it will help us better understand the book we are reading. I think those things are the most important because they will help us in the future!

this year we learned about problem & solotion,also we learned about main idea & detais. Right now we are learning about writing perswasive parigraphs.

What i think is the most inportin thing about that we did was the main idea and detal because it tells you how to write when you get older.I love to write but main idea and detal is more inportan so when you get older you will have good writing.well if you dont know about the main idea and detalls are the main idea is what topic sentenc has  and the detalls are the things that suport main idea it is so cool.                   by jamie

The most important thing we learnd is how to use a dictionary because... If you're writing a book and want to publish it you don't want to spell anything wroung. Be carfull on what defenishion you use.

The  important thing I  think we have used so far is dictionary skills because when we are not  near a computer we will probobally have a dictionary . When our class had a race to see hoculd look up ,wrie the definition ,and write an example sentence  me and my friend won !

I think the most important thing we've learned is retelling because if you meet a person that wants to know about a book, you retell it! Plus if you want to tell your mom about a story you read you retell it!

I think  the most important thing that we have learned this year is retelling because when you grow up and own a bussiness you would have to  retell the other compineis about your compinie so they can use your company.                                 (  A  good retelling has characters, problem, setting and souloution.)

I think we learned alot but I think the most importnt thing's are story telling and main idea ,prbolem and solution. Also another thing that's importnt thing SIMILES.

This year we have leard a lot .I think the most important thing is problom and solision beacause it can help you a lot.one reson is you will use it all your live when your writing or reading.Another thing is you are going to need to use it every week.

My class learnd how to retell.That can help me because if I want to retell how I went to the beach than that would help me.We also learnd about main idea and soupporting detals.That can help me by if I  read a  nonficshon book.We learnd simalies and how to make are work look good.If I want to make my work look like a 5th grader.

I think that the most enportant thing we learned is similies because if you want to say something to someone you can just say a similie. It is also something good to use because it makes a book beter to read.                      

I think it is retelling a story because thats how stories are made. If there are no stories there are no characters or problem no setting no solution no anything. Also you can use retelling a story if your board or if you heard a realy cool stoy and you want to tell it to somebody than you can retell it to them.

Today in Gym we worked on our rolls. We also did the curl-up test. In I.L.A. we are working on writing a letter to the mayor. Right now we are in groups of two and we are editing each other's papers. We just got new books from Book it and now we are reading our books. We are now playing a video game called Myst. We are describing a pole like thing and a green bridge. Right now we are wondering around. We are reading a book that Atrus gave us.  

I think the  2  most  importent  things we have lerned this year is, Main Idea and detale and similys! Because I wan't to be a writer when I grow up . Am I think that will help me be a better writer beacase they are staitiges.

what happened to me on Saturday was real cool an weired.first I had to go to wheighins wihich is where you get wheighed  for football playoffs to make shure you are not a  red stiper.That was at 9:15. AFTER THAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE A FOOTBALL GAME BUT THEN IT GOT CANTSOLD SO AFTER WHEIGHINS. I came home.then  i went with my sisters and my grandparents to see cloudy with a chanes of meatballs in 3d,It was so cool!

11-13-09           Today came up with it.2 it was a comec. Then we went back to a planer of a letter we would give to the mayor of what we think Mt.Airy needs to be a good/beter place=http:// Then we wrote are story. After that we went to gym we did tubeling and the curl up test it was hard.when we got back we    went throgh the writing prosses.When we were done that we went an got books from the reading incentive I got"the voyage of the frog it seems real cool"! then we did myst witch is a cool video game where you go to different worlds and write about what we see in the worlds.

 11-12-09           Today in school first we had to do morning work it was we had to correct some sentenses. Then we went to health. In health we lerned about the food pearimed. Then made are own. Then we lernd about carrle county and commuties. Then some kids went to get the h1n1 flu myst. Then after that we had to write about if we were mayer what we would chang. It was a cool day.

 Have you ever been to  FrIendlys.  Well if not you migt want to look for where it is on a map or internet.   I will give you a hint it's in westmenster.  When you go you can get any IcCream with your meal but it has to be on the  menu.  When i went last night i the 3 cheesburger sliders  an waffle fries.  For my disert a got 3 scoops of stawbery with a con on it with its point sticking up.  You could get 3 toppings with this IceCream.   I got hot fudge, crushed oreaols,and gumies.   Did i say the reason i came if not here it is, It was my frinds 11th birthday, His name is scott we went with another frend and his 2 brothers an mom.

This year we have already learned about story elements, retelling, and similes. I think that retelling and story elements are important becasue if you want to be an author you have to know story elements and retelling.
