All the students in room 15 teach and learn from each other. The challenges that are achieved are limited only by the restrictions of their own minds!

another one of aplesauces blogs I think a miner’s life would be difficult, hard and not easy to survive if I lived back then. Miners lived in incredibly unsanitary conditions so there were many sicknesses passed around. Many people lost their lives, and I would not like to lose my life. The food was not nutritious, and it was disgusting, such as sowbelly, and sowbelly doesn’t carry all the nutrition our body needs. Miners rarely took showers and rarely brushed their teeth. The miners got very homesick. Sometimes they sent letters just to keep in contact. I would get extremely homesick if I lived there. Every day miners worked exceptionally hard. Miners either used pans, cradles or long toms. After a miner came home he would have supper, which he had to cook himself. Their daily meals were pig belly, or coffee and occasionally bear meat. Miners had no electricity so they would have to make fire. Sometimes their fire was left over night, and they burned the miner’s possessions. Miners faced extremely harsh living and anyone could say that, and it would be true.
