I learned that taking shorter showers helps save water. Using Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs helps save light, and 1 of the "CFLs" stays on for more than 10 regular light bulbs! I learned that water can help keep energy alive by turning water into hydroelectric power. My family really likes the CFL bulbs. We use them in the places we use light the most. I use the nightlight in my upstairs hallway. Even though it's not that bright, it seems like it is really bright when you wake up. The kit that I got changed my way of conserving energy.
