The War of June

The War of June
Is also known as the kickball game.
I hope I don’t kick off my shoe.
The fifth grade is in the lead,
The teachers sweat nervously,
As the fifth graders jump with glee.
Now we’ve done it!
We’ve one!
In your face teachers.
We’ll miss you over the summer,
But never forget.
The day fifth grade won
The kickball game.
