I am so proud of the great job that our class is doing with our blogs. The articles and comments are so awesome! This week’s blog is about literature. A big part of fourth grade is getting to know ourselves as readers and exploring the things that good readers do.
Here are the questions I want you to think about this week:
1) What has been your favorite book to read so far this year? This can be one that we have explored as a class or you have read by yourself.
2) What makes that book so much better than all the rest?
3) In what way or ways would you like to grow as a reader this year?

I like Tales of a Forth Grade Nothing. It was a fun book to read as a class. This year I am going to read My Sister The Vampire series. Have any of you read them?:)

My favorite book this year is Diary Of a Wimpy Kid. It's my favorite book because it makes me laugh when I read it.It has funny details and is written like its a real diary. There are many pictures to look at. They use funny words and funny characters. I especially like Greg Heffley because he tells the readers about his life and friends.
This year, I would like to grow up as a reader that knows many words that I do not know yet. It will then let me read new books.

Shiloh has been my favorite book that I read this year.What makes the book Shiloh interesting is that it starts out sad and then gets happy.This year I would like to grow as a reader by reading harder books.

My favorite book is Rani in The mermaid Lagoon.I read this book alone.This book is better then the rest because it has one mystery then all the rest is fantisy.I would like to grow as a reader by trying to read lots of books........

My favorite book so far this year is Double Fudge.The end of the book is much better then the rest.I would like to grow as a reader this year by reading 1 hour each day.

My favorite book that I'm reading so far is the Summer of Rielly. I find this book intresting because, it reminds me of my relationship that I have with my dogs. One day they went on a hike, and the willam tripped and fell in the water.His dog Rielly jumpped in the water to save willam. Thats really cool how the dog knew to rescue willam, and showed how brave the dog was.I hope to become an even stronger reader than I am now. I enjoy to read, and I think that if I keep on reading everyday that will make me stronger reader.

My favorite book so far was Ghosts the magic tree house research Guide and a Goosebumps Horror land book 12. I reared the Gosse bumps Horror land 12 on the summer breaks. It was the most Smokiest book I ever read it took me 3 day to finish that book. Ghost the magic tree house research Guide It took me 13 days to finish it.

I think the best book I have read is Tales of a Fourth Grade nothing.It is better than all the rest because,it's exiting, has alot of detail, and funny.I would become a better reader by reading more challinging and adventurest books.

My favorite book so far is Diary of a Wimpy Kid.I,m on pg.15. most people LOVE the book but i love it way more than anybody. this book is more interesting because it's so funny. I want to grow as a reader by reading harder books. I'm in the O level and by the end of the year i'm hopeing to be a Q level.

My favorite book we read this year so far is Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing.
I think it is better than all the other books because I could visualize it very well.
I would like to grow as a reader this year by learning how to sound words out if I don't know how to say it.

My favorite book in fourth grade is Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing.That book is so much better then the others because the caracters are so funny.I would like to grow to be smart and understanding the book like what its saying and figureout what the MAIN IDEA.

My favorite book I read this year is Dairy of a wimpy kid. What make this book so intresting is the first sentence. when I grow up I do not want to be a reader.

My favorite book is Young Cam Jansen and the Ice Skate Mystery.
Cam Jansen is a better book than the other books because it is a mystery book. Cam and Eric solve a mystery. I enjoy mystery books.
To grow as a reader this year I will read a lot of books and think about what I read. I will also write about what is happening in the book. I will pay attention to the book when I am reading.

My favorite book that I read is Bailey School kids A Vampires Vacation. This book is better then all the books I read because I like scary things like Vampires and its almost Halloween. One way I would like to grow as a reader is to read harder books like Harry Potter or chapter books like Holes

My favorite book this year that I have read is Double Fudge.
It is better than all of the rest that I have read because it relates to my family. One reason in the story is Peter has a evil little brother and I have a little evil sister.
Read harder books of harder levels.

My favorite book so far is Artemis Fowl ,the first book in an exciting series.What makes it so much better than the other books that I've read is,this is an action-packed story with some hilarious lines.In a way I would like to grow as an reader is that I would improve explaining reading comprehensions.

My favorite book I read is Judy Blume Super Fudge.
I think it’s better than the rest because it’s really funny and you should read it!

My favorite book to read this year is The Good Dog from Avi.
Its better than all the rest of the books because its about a dog and has a lot of deatail.
I would like to grow a reader by not making mistakes and by not repeting asingle word.

I am a girl in 4th grade. In my spare time, I like to read books, and sometimes talk to my friends. My favorite color is bluegreen, skyblue, and turqoise. My favorite subject is gym, math, and writing.
