Forestry Field Day
Today I went to forestry field day. I learned about how dirt changes water into dirty water and how sand changes water into clean water. It looks like there’s nothing in the water. I also learned that pine cones open if they get hot. We saw an experiment in hot pan. We burned the pine cone and it opened up. We also saw some sap from the pine cone. We learned about there fire fighting and what to do when fires start. Fighters would go under a silver blanket so they would not get burned.
