Fifth grade essay

Your year in 5^th grade will be the best. You will have a lot of fun moments and challenging ones. There will also be a lot of classroom expectations. If you’re not a social kind of person you will become one in 5^th grade because you have a lot of social time. I will also give you some survival tips to get you though the rough times in 5^th grade. If you read this essay it will help you get through 5^th gradeJ

These are three of my favorite moments in fifth grade. My first favorite moment was getting to have my own blog. This was one of my favorite moments because I think it was fun to post different articles on it. My second favorite moment was when we got to Skype with other classrooms around the world. It was fun because we got to learn about their school and how they learned. My third favorite moment was the kindness retreat. The reason this was one of my favorites moments was because we got to play fun games. Those were my three favorite moments in 5^th grade.

There are many challenges in 5^th grade. One challenge was the machine in motion project. The reason this was a challenge for me was because it got frustrating because it takes time to get it to work. Another challenge was homework. Homework was a challenge because I always forgot to take my SRB home (SRB will help you with math). The last challenge is tests. Tests were always a challenge for me because I would always stress about them. Those were some challenges is 5^th grade.

Our classroom has many expectations. One expectation is always clean up after yourself. This is a good expectation because if you don’t the classroom will look messy. Always be respectful is another expectation. This is a good class room expectation because if you be respectful other people will be respectful to you. One of the final expectations is give complements. This is a good expectation because it makes the person you are giving it to feel good. Those are some of your classroom expectations.

These are my three favorite social moments in 5^th grade. My first favorite social moment was when we got to work with people from other classes. This social moment was a favorite moment because I got to see friends in other classrooms that I haven’t seen in a while. My second favorite social moment is when you make new friends. This is a good social moment because meeting new friends is fun, they could become your best friend. My third favorite social moment was getting to know your friends better. This was a social favorite because the better you know them the better you understand them. Those were my favorite social moments in 5^th grade.

Fifth grade can be difficult, here are some survival tips to help you get through it. My first survival tip is to take advantage of I.S time .This is a good survival tip because I.S time is a time to get home work done and the more homework you get done in school the less you have to bring home. My second tip is stay focused. This is a good tip because if you don’t stay focused you could miss important directions. My final survival tip is to get homework done and turned in on time. This is a great survival tip because once you get a project turned in on time it makes you feel good and it lifts weight of your shoulders.
