This article is like the Jayhawker book because Kansas and Missouri are both going against each other and calling each other names, they are fighting over slavery in The Jayhawker and in the story they are fighting over a game. People think that they are being very hateful to each other.In The Jayhawker they go to war over slavery but in the story they get in fights, and call each other names. It is also alike because both storys are between Kansas and Missouri.

As Kansas and Missouri came together for a very big football game. People are fighting and calling each other names. But what they don't realize is that this is all over Kansas stealing the "Jayhawkers" name after the pro-slavery people to the KU name .The players don't really have anything to do with the fight. Its the fans that are starting the fighting. This is all over how Missouri and Kansas faught over pro-slavery and anit-slavery states.But what doesn't make since is that this happened 150 years before the game for nationals and nobody was even fighting in the same fights.

I think my class and I could have done better by:
-Some people were shaking when they got to the front of the room.
-Talking slower, and louder
-Making sure you said everything on your poster
-Call on people to answer questions
-Make sure the class can see your poster
-Be creative
-Have color on your poster
-Explaining your pictures, definition, synonyms
