Dear Mom,
Our environment is in great (when I say great I mean 1000,000,000 liters of danger juice has been poured on it) danger and I feel strongly that this must come to a stop! Let’s start out with our tree population, which is very very low. That’s why I’m asking you for a job. You’re probably thinking what do trees have to do with jobs? Well with that job I’ll earn a dollar a day for one week, with the money, I will buy a tree and plant it to save the tree population.
The planting of trees is important because they provide beauty, as well as absorbing CO2. I know you don’t like animals but its all part of life, the decreasing of trees is leaving animals homeless. This could lead to extinction, and who knows what might happen if these creatures disappear? Deforestation is also affecting our existence or health. Furthermore fruits grow on trees, and fruits and veggies are an essential part of our diet since they contain fibers and vitamins. So the loss of trees is also attacking us, so basically we’re committing a crime. Little do people realize that the population is also adding extra to our electricity bills in the summer because trees are our natural air conditioners.
We can’t only save trees by just planting more! We must also recycle and reduce. In order to accomplish this task we need recycling factories. There should be laws that ensure that everybody is recycling and reducing.
Speaking of laws, the constructing of laws must be happening because if anybody should be helping it’s the government (and the citizens of course). Furthermore, the laws should be serious, like, if you cut down a tree you must plant two more in its place. Or...It should be illegal to cut down trees in private places such as in wild life habitats since animals depend on these trees. If anybody is caught breaking any of these laws they will be put in prison or be forced to pay a fine according to how many trees you cut or where you cut it.
Knowing you Mom, you’ll give me the job, but I want you to grant me this wish because you really care about this very serious issue. It all starts with one person then it becomes contagious. Then it’s solved before it’s too late.
Yours Sincerely,
LA

1. Hominids are divided into four different groups Homo habilis (2.5 million years ago), Homo erectus (1.9 million years ago), Neanderthals or Homo Neanderthals and Homo sapiens/Homo sapiens sapiens(200,000 years ago).
2. Homo habilis’s nickname is handy man because when archeologists were excavating they found lots of tools around Homo habilis.
3. Homo habilis is probably had the smallest brain of the hominids.
4. There were early human before the Homo habilis they were called Australopithecus or Australopithecine but they are not considered hominids because the only thing that resembled humans about the Australopithecus is that they walked on 2 feet but they were more like monkeys.
5. A famous example of Australopithecus is Lucy. Lucy was discovered by Donald Johanson.
6. Australopithecus’s nickname is southern ape.
7. Homo erectus’s nickname is man who stands up right; because they were the hominids that started to stand up right maybe to find food in an easier way or to look out for predators.
8. Homo erectus’s brain was bigger than Homo habilis’s.
9. Homo erectus started to tame fire.
10. A band of Homo erectus started to migrate to Europe and eventually evolved into a new hominid Neanderthals.
11. Neanderthals are called Neanderthals because their first fossils were discovered in Neander Valley in Germany.
12. Neanderthals became soon disappeared nobody knows why though.
13. The remaining Homo erectus evolved into Homo sapiens or Homo sapiens sapiens which means wise man.
14. Homo sapiens started to use better communication skills.

It’s so empty, nothing’s in here except for me, tuna and old red.
It’s been empty for a month. I wonder why Tommy doesn’t come anymore. I miss looking at the brightness; well I only do because it’s part of my job.
Old tuna’s always complaining because he hasn’t been touched since Tommy shoved him in the corner, serves him right; he sure is smelly.
I don’t mean to boast but I’m the important one here, without a click of me it would be too dark to see anything.
I miss old bulb I wouldn’t be anything about her.
Fuzz would always show off because Tommy loved him most, I’m glad he’s gone now. I was afraid those big versions of Tommy would pluck me out of my place like all those other things.
Old red is patient, so silent, she never opens and she’s so empty, I feel sorry for her.
Wait a minute something’s creaking…
