A bridge is many different things for many different people it could be an event or your life is a bridge or it can even be something small. To me a bridge is hundreds of things, but one thing that really stands out is the books I have read for the last couple of years. Each book is the beginning of a new bridge and each time you finish a book there is always a new bridge waiting to be crossed. This is very similar to life which is always a challenge and each bridge is very different from the next, harder or longer than each other. When your life is over and you have crossed the last bridge you should think to yourself not how many you crossed but how many you could have crossed with your abilities.

Many super markets and pharmacies are expanding and growing. The demand for gold and copper is at a very high/sell rate. The demand for more supermarkets is growing because the rise in population. Rite aid and target are expanding because of the trust and quality of these large chains. I think these companies are growing because they are made to buy groceries yet they have smaller markets on the inside of the store. You will find pizza huts and Starbucks inside for your convenience, which is a reason someone would rather go to a plain old supermarkets. Rite is growing because rather than having a store with an added pharmacy you can find a store filled with specialists who can let you know everything from health to supplying your pharmaceutical needs. Gold is expanding not only to buy but companies and suppliers are making money by simply selling it back to these major companies who will use it to make more jewelry rather than having paid workers mine it for them when they can get it cheaper from citizens. The growth of these corporations is a big part of our society and way of life.
As you buy and sell stocks there are some trends you will realize throughout your company. Some ways of buying a stock that will do well is much easier than you think. A couple things you should notice is your community seeing stores or corporations being built or up for sale should let let you know how well the stocks are for it. Or when you come across a stock that you have noticed growing see how expensive it is, when you buy more of something even the slightest changes in it can make or lose a lot of money. If you choose a stock like an airline when a volcano irrupts or another natural disaster look to sell it before it can do you a lot of damage. Buying stocks is really not as complicated as you would think.
Stocks are very unpredictable, you may see a major bear or bull market. A stock that may be a good investment is Rite Aid, because it may not be going up very much yet it is very cheap so if you buy a lot you can make a lot of money. Target is a company very much like Rite Aid yet it is much more expensive so you might find a major profit or loss depending on how many stocks you buy. Gold is a very unpredictable stock because it is either going way up or down, I would not consider this a good investment because how much money you can lose with a slight change in the market. As much as stocks will help you, you may also lose just as much as you make.

Gardens are a great way to get your communities involved in outdoor fun and activities. Our school previously started a garden, all of the grades have gotten really involved. The layout of the garden was a contest to see who had the best idea for a map to scale. Many of the seeds were donated by students or teachers. Now in science our class we are testing pH of the soil to make sure the fruits and veggies will be able to grow. Our school has really come together through the garden, I encourage other families and school to create a garden getting friends and family involved.
Our school has been trying to go green and succeeding in some ways. A group of people from the zero waste now business which composts and demonstrates to children and even adults the effectiveness of composting and how it helps everyone. When they came in we went through bags of trash and when we started there was 87.5lbs of trash. After we sorted it there was 22lbs of trash, 51lbs of compost and 9lbs of recyclables. So if we all sorted trash like that you could get a large amount of great fertilizers and reduce the amount in landfills. This shows that doing a small thing goes a long way.

USA Hockey Falls to Canadians
USA came into the Olympic tournament with one of the youngest teams since the 1980 miracle on ice. The US wasn't even sure who would be the goalie among these NHL stars. The players were able to train together by late December to begin making plays and beginning a team chemistry. Coming into the gold medal game Canada had already been beaten by the US 5-3 in the first meeting between these two teams. The Us have been cruising through games with the teams highest scorer Zak Perise, Who along with almost all of the others want to see a gold medal hang from their chest on Sunday.
Many of the players have been trying to work out on their own with individual things. One of the main things they have been doing is strength training which is a strict lifting scheduled every day to work out every bone in the body. A very important part of the strength training is nutrition and how much calories you eat a day. Even though they say training together builds chemistry this will help the US in the end of tough games when people on the other team are tired and they aren't.
The first period in Sundays game began with an early goal for the Canadian with another at the beginning of the second to make it 2-0.” I wasn't completely nervous about the 2-0 lead with all of the great scorers on my team.” said Ryan miller of the Buffalo Sabres. The US answered right back making the game down to a one point difference. The flashing red light was silent for the rest of the second. The Canadinas in the third period they started playing more of a defensive game only shooting on good opportunities making sure they didn't lose the puck. With 1:30 left in the game the US pulled Ryan Miller to put six attackers on the ice which is usually a risky call but the US needed a goal and they needed one quick. That wish would come true for American superstar Zack Perise when a shot was fired bouncing of Phil Kesler's skate into the waiting stick of Zack Perise who tapped it in when Canadian goalie mike Luongo was off balance from the previous slap-shot.

Hello, I am a Roman foot soldier currently stationed in Gaul. Our goal is to control the territory now occupied by these foolish Caledonians. We hope to have all land by the next couple of years, as of now we wait.We are preparing for a slaughter of a local tribe. we have one legion going in to the village to try to compromise, if not, i only fear the worst for these primitive people.
We have just come back from a victory over the celts. The fight was not fair, they had no armour with only two simple weapons the broadsword and a sling. Our generals were correct with their fighting technique i was run up as fast as youcan and start swinging, sompared to our which was to keep a tight line shoulder to shoulder and start stabbing whoever comes close to slash or stab. This was very affective against them because with their slow broadsword we were much faster. We will start building on their land tommorow, and plan to make a treaty with another village to the north.
The treaty was a success, one citizen took a foot soldiers sword and ran him through he was quieted quickly, the citizen i almost felt bad for when he was surrounded and quickly stopped. Many of these happy caledonians were glad to be heading to a better life... i hope. A lot of the citizens the next day were getting some last collectables to prepare for the trip to Rome. I noticed some of these strange collectables, some were religious, jewelry, cloths, etc. I was only accustomed to my sword armour and food. Their faith in these objects intriged me.
As of right now we have no specific plans except for to get that other fort ready in the North. For now I will be staying in the baths and getting a massage. I wonder what Ceaser has planned next for us.

Martin Luther King Jr. changed the country and the world in many different ways.
King back then King faced one of the worst discrimination anyone can face, Racial.
He just couldn't take it neither could all of the blacks, but he knew if you try to make a speech like that many people might pay the price of death. It really did not matter to him. He knew this country needed change and if it meant his life for the rest of his race, then so be it. That is the definition of a hero in my book.
His speech was amazingly influential for the whole world. This man went in front of this slave infested world and spoke about the errors and things that are simply not right for the same species to go through. In the end he did pay the price of the ultimate sacrifice, death for the freedom of his people. Even though he is dead, we still honor him today by celebrating MLK day. If you could ask the modern man who would you describe as a hero, MLK would most likely come up.

We recently did projects on the history of Rye. My project was on the Barckett Massacre which was when the indians and settlers were doing a guerilla style of fighting. This fighting tactic is when you keep doing little damage at a time until all of the events add up. In the end the indians out numbered and were more prepared. They call it the Brackett massacre because the family killed on that site were the Bracketts.
