In the year 1492 Christopher Columbus sailed to North America and changed the world forever, and now we have the holiday for Christopher Columbus, which is held on the second Monday of October. But some People question the federal holiday of Columbus day to be celebrated. I think we should celebrate Columbus day for many reasons.

Columbus brought advanced technology to the New World. There was the horse which helped to travel and then there was the wheel the wheel could also help travel or move heavy things. There was also the gun and that helped for hunting.

There wasn't just pros that he did there were some cons that are important like Columbus brought disease to the New World such as small pocks but how could Columbus know that he and his followers had those diseases . When the vikings went to the Americas they didn't stay all they did was just keep on moving. But when Columbus came he gave advance government to us and he gave colonies and that was the start of the settlement.

As you can see there are many reasons other than mine that we should celebrate Columbus day he brought us technology,weapons and the settlement of the New world and now we have North America and South America.

The RDB comes over the river like a tank but wait it is a tank

There is no stopping it, it goes over everything now:mountains,woods and water

As the tank puts down its tracks over the water and turns the open river into a place where there is a bridge

Once it is done it retrieves the bridge and holds it again

There it goes again mountains rumble and the water splashes!!!

Bobsledding in my opinion is one of the hardest workout for training and in the top 10 of most dangerous events in the Olympics. The idea of racing down twisty curvy tracks of ice and/or snow started about 150 Yrs. ago when the British were tobogganing down the icy roads in the Alps. But before racing, Bobsledding started as just simply sledding down hills.

    

    There are many different positions in Bobsledding, the break man:the last person on the Bobsled who controls the brakes and then there is the driver:first person on the Bobsled who steers. G-Force: Gravitational force that holds the sled and athletes on the wall of a banked turn. A G is equal to the force of gravity.



  In the Olympics Bobsled tracks consist of these variables, Kreisel: From the German word for circle, this refers to a turn on a course that loops underneath or above to form a circle. The Whistler Sliding Centre track, located in Canada does not have a Kreisel. Labyrinth: A stretch of track made up entirely of a series of left and right curves with no straight sections in between. Line: The precise path or the optimum trajectory of the sled. The driver can achieve a good race time by keeping to the trajectory. Lip: A protective barrier at the top of the sliding track. Loading:The process of athletes entering the sled after the push start. Omega:A curve on the track shaped like the letter Omega in the Greek alphabet. Push:The sled is pushed as hard as possible over a 50 to 60-meter stretch to provide momentum at the start. when the people train for the Bobsled they have 2-3 runs on the track a day and then they have sprinting sessions off season daily. All this intensive training and hard work shows how difficult and painful it is to be a Bobsledder.

On a warm day the birds chirped flowers bloomed. But then they all exploded from the most haywire guy in the forest, his name was Dr. Fill he was the god of music, he was 1/3 human 1/3 angel and 1/3 drums.

Then there was another one his name was beat boxing bob everyone called him Triple B he was half turn table and half human, there were more people but that would take more ink which would mean more ink.

Anyway back to the story Dr. fill and Triple B were bffl's until 1 day they got into a fight and u know how that goes except they were 35 years old so they said some things that were not appropriate for this school.

5 min. later of stuff that I shouldn't say...

“why did we bicker?” said Triple B “I ,I don't know I think because we were thinking who was a better musician so yea.” stuttered Dr. Fill, so they both walked away and mumbled to themselves I bet I would beat him in a music contest.

The next day they ran up to each other and said “I challenge you to a music battle”... “ Bring it” they both said they then went back to there houses again and practiced there heart out. So that same day they both came to the open field and they said “on three, 1,2,3333.”

They both started playing loco and then more insane it was like fantastic four fighting that metal guy, you know what I am talking about. OMG Dr. Fill just got a beam of light out of his bass drum. It hit triple B and holy cheese cake Triple B just exploded, the whole forest detonated, wow that was awesome Dr. Fill won.
