For my math project, I invested in four stocks. These stocks were Google, Apple, Aeropostale and Abercrombie and Fitch. I decided to invest in these companies for a varitety of reasons. I picked Google because I knew that a lot of people use it and that it was usually a very successful stock. The reason that I picked Apple was that I knew that it was a popular company and that it made a lot of money. For Aeropostale, I heard that it was a good stock to invest in and for Abercrombie and Fitch, I thought it was in the same type of company as Aeropostale so, I decided to invest in that too and see how it turned out. Some were more successful than others but, I still made some money on them.
Now that I've seen the successful and not so successful stocks, I wish that I had changed some of the things I had invested in. I wish that I hadn't bought Google because it went way down since I bought it. I also wish that I hadn't bought so many shares of Aeropostale because that went down too. Instead of buying Google, I wish that I bought more shares of Apple because I originally bought 11 shares of it and earned $733.59.
There are many strategies to earn a lot of money in the stock market. Some good advice is that the sometimes cheaper stocks can earn you a lot of money, especially if you buy a lot of shares from them. For example, if you buy 1000 shares of a stock and it goes up 1 cent and you sell all your shares, you earn $10. Also, sometimes the more expensive stocks earn a lot of money. Apple was an expensive stock but, I made a lot of money from it. This was a very fun and interesting project!

There are a total of three different events in freestyle skiing. There are moguls, ski cross, and aerials. Freestyle skiing was first introduced into the Winter Olympics in 1992, for moguls. Then later, in 1994, they added the aerial event. However, ski cross was only officially added to the Olympics this year. The athletes in all these events must work hard and practice for them, in order to win the gold. It is important for them to have strong muscles and steady balance. It takes a lot of practice to get their trick or landing just right.
The first event is the Moguls. Moguls are "bumps" in the snow that you have to ski on, a certain way. It takes a lot of practice to be good at it and athletes have to work hard. You have to ski down and perform two aerial tricks, while going as fast as you can, with good form, without falling. There are 2 snow ramps (one at the top and one at the bottom) for the skiers to use to get air and perform tricks that boost their score. The skier with the greatest score wins.
Another freestyle event is ski cross. Ski Cross was very recently added to the Winter Olympics. It is similar to alpine skiing. In training, athletes in this race practice against other racers, just like in the real event. However, off season, athletes work on having strong upper body muscles, which help to push themselves out of the gate and give them a good start. Leg muscles are important, too. They help them maintain good form and make good turns. In this event, athletes race against three other skiers (four skiers per heat) down a trail. The trails have many sections, each one testing the athlete's ability to complete them. Difficult turns, horizontal sections, rolls, and bumps are some of the "obstacles" that the athletes have to complete successfully to win the gold. The first and second place winners of that heat will advance to the next round and the athlete who finishes first and has the best score wins.
The third event is the aerial event. Skiers perform tricks as they speed down the mountain. They are judged by how well their take-off is, how big their trick is, and how well their landing is. There are many tricks that athletes in this event perform. Some popular ones include the helicopter, iron cross, spread eagle, and twister. The skier with the shortest time and best score will win the gold medal.
There are many freestyle skiing athletes from the U.S.A., two of which won medals in women's moguls. They are Hannah Kearney, who won gold and Shannon Bahrke, who won bronze. However, there are many other skiers from team U.S.A. who did just as well. For example, Byron Wilson won bronze in men's moguls and Jeret Peterson won the silver medal in men's aerials. Freestyle skiing is a very unique sport.

Hello. My name is Aelia Bachius. I was a soldier in the Roman army. It was a long time ago, but I remember the time when the Roman army was going to try to conquer the Caledonians and expand their empire. I would always remember it. I remember the empire's leader's talking about invading them and expanding their empire. We were sent there to conquer the Celts. After months of marching through the Alps and sailing across to Britiana, we had finally made it but lost many of our soldiers. We set up many forts and I hoped we would conquer their land someday. As I looked at their village from our fort, I spotted a few Celtic warriors. They were very strange. They wore a weird ring around their necks and carried a long, spear-like weapon that had a pointed end, appearing to be made out of iron. They wore bright, colorful clothing, shoes, but, no armor except for a large shield. Also, strangely, they grew beards and had painted their faces, compared to us, who never grew beards. We had more weapons (such as pilums, hastas, and the gladius), much more armor (lorica), and metal helmets we called casius that were lined with fur. However, we had some things in common. We both had sandal-like shoes that were very useful in battle. I began to worry a bit. They didn't look very strong compared to our army but, I had a feeling that they would be much stronger than they looked. I noticed how small their village was, though, comparing it to our fort. They didn't have many of the things we did. We had a large, public bathroom. It included a furnace that we used to heat the floors and bath water. The Celts did not have anything like that. However, they did use a furnace/fire in their workshop. They used similar tools to ours. They were very different from us, though. They didn't have nearly any of the luxuries we had in our forts or cities. They didn't have any big gardens or shops. They grew all their crops and raised animals all by themselves. They never traded any animals or crops with anyone. Despite of our many differences, we started to become peaceful neighbors as we were living there. We never conquered them, though. However, in the process, we gained more territory. The Celts and Romans lived together peacefully for a long time after. It was an amazing experience that I would never forget
