Which student created questions would you like to have spent more time discussing and why?

A question that I wanted to spend more time on was if we wanted to go to a new school or not. The reason is that I think it could have maybe helped if we were going through the same things.

What student created questions did your group agreed upon and justify?

Our group agreed on the way we would react if we got pushed into traffic like Jodee. We agreed Jodee didn’t want go at first to the Greek camp. Another topic we agreed on was that we would all want to cry if our clothes got thrown in the toilet. We agreed on also we would want to try to at least make one really good friend.
What student created questions did your group disagreed upon and justify?
Our group disagreed that if you were in the situation that Jodee was in would you go to a new school. We disagreed that she didn’t want to go through it anymore and another person said they wouldn’t want to run away from the problem. Another topic we disagreed on was that some people said that they would want to change schools not to deal with all the problems and a different person said that they wouldn’t want to change schools because they wouldn’t want to run away from the problem.

What student created questions in your group generated the most discussion and justify?
One of the topics my group discussed was about if your parents would let you go to another school would you. One student said in my group was that she wouldn’t get picked on if she went to another school and she would feel safer there. Another student said he would stay at that school so he wouldn’t be running away form it all and show them he isn’t scared to stand up to them.
Another topic we discussed was why do you think she enjoys writing poems?
One student said that it would maybe help her with her emotions because she would be letting them out. Another student said that if she was angry it would let her anger out if she was angry and she wouldn’t take it out on herself.

2-5 rights and responsibilities blog A

Vote- The reason why I think this responsibility is so important is because we all should have a say so on what goes on in our country. Also you just dont vote on the President you also vote on the represenatives the Sherrif's and other elected officials that have a say in how local and state and national laws are carried out. And we have a freedom to have a say so in what your country does and back long ago you didnt have the right to vote.
Knowing what your government is doing- I think it is important to know what your government is doing because if you dont know whats goin on you might get in trouble with the law. Or if you dont know and you get mad cause you dont know whats going on and thats your fault.
Support your family- I think supporting your family is really important because if you were4 in trouble or sick or needed help they would support you. Also one day your not going to have some of those family members and your going to miss them alot. And because everybody no matter who it is needs there family at some point in time.

Blog response 1 chapter 4

If I was at a party of this nature I would of did some thing that Joddee did a little diffrently. I would of went down stairs and act like nothing was going on up there and called my mom and tell her I didnt feel that good and ask her to come get me.

Joddee could of changed her outcome by saying nothing about the party to her mom and just tell her mom and the girl who had the partys mom that she didnt feel good. Or she could do what everybody else was doing but I think overall she made a good choice.

I do not think Joddee should of been punished by thee kids because of what they did because she was really helping them in the future so that would teach them never to do that again. And if they want to be mad at someone that she be mad at thereselves for doing what they did.

I think if I was at this party and I did what those kids di I would lose my phone gert grounded forever and and couldnt hang out with my freinds for a while and couldnt go to anymore partys and wouldnt be trusted fo a while.

I do not think Joddee diserved what she got she just got scared and I think she did the right thing for telling her mom. And they wouldnt want her to do that to them if they was in the position they were in.

Blog Response#2 chapter 3

The thing my group talked about that I agrred with the most was that we didnt think that it was right for Jodee to first listen to her friend that didnt like Marianne and quit doing stuuf with her and having her come over to her house just because her friend didnt like Marianne. I think the question that created the most discussion was "do you think this type of thing goes on in our school"? I think there is and sometimes we just dont see it. Or we are the ones doing it and we dont even notice sometimes. I think the most topic we discussed the most was that you shouldnt have to choose betwwen your friens you should all be friends or try to be friends.

Blo9g Response #1 chapter 3

I think the meaning of this quote is you want to be noticed so you make fun of other people to make you feel better about yourself. And so that makes you seem popular because the cool people are laughing with you. I do not agree with this opinion because, just because you make fun of somebody else and the popular kids like you because of that doesnt mean that the popular kids will always like you. And when they dont like you anymore and you want some other friends to hang out with you wont have any because you made fun of them just to get that spotlight from the popular kids. I have witnessed this type of situation. There was this girl I knew and we were in 5th grade. And she wanted to be in the cool crowd so bad that she would come up to you and compliment you then the next minute she would go over to the in crowd and say how ugly your clothes were or how much she hated your outfit.

The reason why the bus situation on the bus was so traumatizing was because in junior high if you sat in the front seat you would be a loser. And when she was in junior high she was the nerd that sat in the front seat. And her first day of being a freshman she had to sit in the front seat and they called her a loser and threw spit balls at her head!:( When she got off the bus the bus driver told her to just ignore it and have the best day she could have.:)

Jodee would would wear tight clothes and high heels that were four inches high just to fit in. And Jodee didnt even want to eat because she wanted her stomach to be flat. And her speech teacher wanted her to give a speech and Jodee didnt know wheather to give a good spech or not. Because she didnt want to be the school nerd.
