One day our school had a trash day. That means these people sorted the trash. They sorted the compost, recyclables and trash that goes to a landfill. The people talked about how things can be used more than once. In science class the teacher asked the kids if they wanted to volunteer to sort the trash. The people showed us a slide show and one of the slides was the Pacific Ocean. It had a lot of trash. It was the size of Texas. The science teacher asked the students if they wanted to sort the trash and 4 or 5 students helped to sort the trash with the people. They told us that some schools can recycle lunch trays and that our school can compost milk cartons.
There were four people there that day to teach us. Two were girls and two were boys. One of the girls came to our school every Tuesday to have a film festival. We watched a movie and when we it we had a piece of paper to answer the questions. After the movie we talk about the movie and the answers.
The one the movies were stuff. Stuff was about People throw stuff away and it was perfectly fine but they saw some other cool and people wasted money on things just came out and they had the almost the same butter. Some of the new thing can be not that better.

My sport is free skiing and the other name for it is hot doggie. It began in 1960 at Atittash, New Hampshire. The first time free skiing was in the Olympics was in 1992.There are different kinds of tricks: A flip with a half twist, back scratcher is when the skier touches her or his back with the tails of both skies. When you train to be explosive movement and short burst of energy and compact athletes. You need to learn the track because you need to repeat actions and practice a lot visually. At first it had only a few rules to it and now it has a more than it was before. Free skiing was introduced and demonstrated in the Olympic Games in 1992. Did you know, that the United States has won only one out of three of the 18 medals?

You make me so hot like Venus, I love you as much as how many stars in the milky way! When i am not with you i feel gray and foggy. When I look though a telescope your eyes look like stars in the the galaxy! You make me feel so light and cumulus cloud. You make me so light like I am walking on the moon.

I think he did a good job because he did not get off the topic. I liked when he talked about how you get attached to drugs it is really hard to stop. Joe said inside in your head there are lights and if some of the of the lights turn off and part of your body turn off . If some of your lights turn off, it is bad for you. When your lights go out you body does too.

I did not know they made 100 pies and they stored some away to have them latter. They kept the pie in an extra room, possibly the attic for storage. They put food in the bag for the poor. They put many things in the bag including rice, sugar, flour, and corn. They put knots in the bag so they would not mix them up. The bag was put into a basket. They put other stuff in it like apples, 3 or 4 knitted things. In the kitchen, we did some chores. My favorite one was stringing the green beans. I also learned how to cook with 3 different settings over the fire. There were hooks and the pots went on the hooks. The hooks were different sizes. You could also put them in different places.

The moon rocks are so cool and there were little. When we got the moon rocks I thought we could hold them ,but it was cool any way to see them. I thought the colors were cool and some the rocks looked like they were rough and smooth. My science teacher got them because we were studying the moon in science .The color was so cool it was black with spots and the solid black and the other one was white.
We saw five moon rocks. One of the moon basalt so it look like it was glimmering.

Dear Mom,
I am going to tell you what I learned in7th grade math class. I feel like I understand it better then last years class. The bar graph assignment was something I enjoyed. We had to find a bar graph in the newspaper and then you had to answer questions about the graph. I picked out a graph that was easy to read and the questions were easy for me to answer. The other thing I like doing are frequency tables, because it is fun for me and I am good at that. A frequency table is when you count up the number of times something happens and then you make a chart. For example, you could pick different colors of marbles out of a bag. Next, you would record them on a table and then you can see how many times you pulled certain colors out of the bag. The other thing I like is term and term#.I like it because it is easy for me this year, and I am getting better at it .I really like exponents too, because there are fun and easy for me. An exponent is the little number that tells you how many times to multiply a number by itself. I dislike the algebra part because the numbers confuse me. I will do the problem sometimes and then I get it wrong. It does not happen all the time but I need help sometimes to finish these problems. I hope you like the letter I wrote to you. I hope you have an idea of what I am doing in math this year! Love, lske

Planets- I learned that we have nine planets. Pluto got replaced by a dwarf planet.
Distance- I noticed that some planets are close together and others are farther apart. There is a math pattern that can be used to tell how far apart the planets are.
Sizes- I learned that some planets are the same size and others are smaller or bigger.
