Family Traditions

Article posted December 16, 2009 at 11:44 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 1299

One of my favorite family traditions is when the whole family comes over to my house on Christmas Eve. The house is all decorated and smells yummy from all the baking. Everyone is excited and anxious for Christmas Day. Then later on in the evening, we bundle up and head out to the Candlelight Christmas Eve Services. We sing carols and celebrate the coming of Christmas. Tell me about some of your family traditions around the holidays. What do you do that is special to just your family? It doesn't only have to be around Christmas. Does your family have a special tradition at other times during the year? Pick one of your favorites and write about it. Merry Christmas Everyone!

November

It's been a while since our last assignment, so it's time to get blogging again.  Thanksgiving is almost here and we will be spending more time with our families, friends, and loved ones.  Read your next assignment because I want to know what you give thanks for.

I am thankful for my loving family because they always support me.  I am thankful for my job and the awesome students I teach.   Finally, I am thankful for my three pets who give me unconditional joy everyday.  There is nothing better than wet doggie kisses!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE

Red Ribbon Week

Article posted October 26, 2009 at 08:52 PM GMT0 • comment (5) • Reads 375

Red Ribbon Week is here, YEAH!!!  I loved seeing everyone today in their ribbons.  I wonder how many people will remember to wear RED tomorrow!  I hope you are all thinking about Friday and the Fall party.  Remember to wear a costume to the party to "Scare Away Drugs."  It is very important to stay healthy and drug free your whole life.  Maybe our next assignment should be to think of ways to stay healthy and drug free forever??  Hmmmm...  Talk to you soon.

Our trip to Apple Ridge

I don't know about you guys, but I am tired!  What a great day we had on the mountain, despite the cold weather.  I am impressed with how everyone did today. I wish all of you could have seen our group at the "MEAT GRINDER!"  Yes, it was as scary as it sounds.  Let's keep that cooperation all year long!  Be ready to blog about our trip this week.

 1. Do not use your name. 2. Use kind words. 3. Do not post personal information such as your phone number or address. 4. Remember we will have an audience reading our blog, so use your best spelling and grammar. 5. Have fun.
