We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. Conditions of Use


Energy and batteries #1 we learned about batteries and energy, we had some experiments about testing how long batteries would last with flash lights. we charged them for 30 seconds 60 seconds 120 seconds and 240 seconds. after the thirty seconds they lasted 12 seconds, with the 60 sec it lasted 37 sec for the 120 it lasted 1:20 sec and the 240 it lasted 3:07 sec
