Life as a 5th grader Introduction
Your year in 5th grade will be full of exciting and challenging moments. If there is one thing that you should know about 5th grade is there are classroom expectations just like 5th grade. There will also be many challenges throughout the year. It will take a lot to survive 5th grade so we have some survival tips for 5th grade. You will have a lot of opportunities to be social and to communicate with others. There are many fun things in 5th grade and you will be busy in doing fun things. You will read about in my essay on 5th grade.

Classroom Expectations
These are my three classroom expectations for 5th grade. One is be prepared for class. If you are not prepared for class than you will get a late. Another one is stay above the line. Like all of your grades before 5th grade is no different so stay above the line and everything will run smoothly. The last one is being honest. If you are honest people will believe you and will not be questioned. Those are my three Classroom expectations for 5th grade.

Challenges
These are my three challenges for 5th grade. One challenge is big projects. Big projects are a challenge because we have a lot of projects and don’t always have a lot of time to do them. Another one is essay questions. In 5th grade you have essay questions that are mostly for social studies and if you don’t study them you will probably get them wrong. My last challenge is homework. You have a lot more homework than you did in 4th grade. These are my three challenges for 5th grade.

Survival Tips
These are my three survival tips for 5th grade. One survival tip is don’t make up excuses. You don’t want to make up excuses because if you do you will be in a whole lot of trouble. Another one is always be prepared for class. You want to be prepared for class because if you aren’t you will probably get a late so be prepared for class. My last one is getting your homework done. You want to get your homework done because getting a late isn’t a whole lot funner than getting a late in 4th grade. Those are my survival tips for 5th grade.

Social situations
These are three good social points from 5th grade. One social situation were the bathrooms. I think the bathrooms were a problem because they were being vandalized and it was very inappropriate. Another one is many projects. The many projects we did took social skills because if you were not social with your group then the project might not turn out well. My last one is partner time. I picked partner time because you have a lot of partner time in 5th grade so you have to communicate well to get your work done. Those are 3 social points from 5th grade.

Favorite moments
These are my three favorite moments from 5th grade. One of my favorite moment’s Fort Snelling. I liked it because it was cool to go to somewhere that was used in the Civil war. Another favorite moment was when we had the geography Bee. I liked it because it was fun to do geography things against your fellow classmates. . My last favorite moment was when we did the 13 colonies project. I liked that project because I like stuff to do with geography and history. These are my three favorite moments from 5th grade.

Concluding
That has been a lot of my 5th grade year. You have seen the exciting and challenging moments. You have seen the expectations and you have seen the social situations. But you have also seen the one you probably like the best which are favorite moments. That is the life of a 5th grader and you will have a blast!
