3 characteristics of great leaders

Article posted March 10, 2010 at 08:12 PM GMT0 • comment (2) • Reads 1763

1.A leader with vision has a clear, vivid pi cture of where to go, as well as a firm grasp on what success looks like and how to achieve it. But it’s not enough to have a vision; leaders must also share it and act upon it. Jack Welch, former chairman and CEO of General Electric Co., said, "Good business leaders create a vision, articulate the vision, passionately own the vision and relentlessly drive it to completion."
2. A good leader must have the discipline to work toward his or her vision single-mindedly, as well as to direct his or her actions and those of the team toward the goal. Action is the mark of a leader. A leader does not suffer “analysis paralysis” but is always doing something in pursuit of the vision, inspiring others to do the same.
3. A leader must be able to communicate his or her vision in terms that cause followers to buy into it. He or she must communicate clearly and passionately, as passion is contagious.

N.F.L
A poem

Football season is all over. Saints sucked more than the Lions . With fumbles interceptions all over the place. Next year I hope that it is better with more rumbling bumbling games. And the N.F.C winning the pro bowl. With Jared Allen, DeAngelo Williams, Larry Fitzgerald and more by their side

3rd draft

My Winter Olympics

Article posted February 3, 2010 at 06:48 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 736

I’m sitting at home watching Vikings vs. cowboys when the mail man came to the door like he always does. And I got this letter saying that I’m in the winter Olympics. This is the start of my adventure at the winter Olympics.
So the next day I get on the bus to Canada were the Olympics are going to tack place this year. When I get on the bus the first thing I see. Are my opponents Bobby and Aaron. All a sudden we start trash talking. The bus driver stops the bus to stop us be for someone gets heart. Of course I won the trash tacking Bobby and Aaron were no match against me.
So finely we get there. I find out that are downhill ski race is right away.
So when we get to the top of the hill which is bigger than I thought it would be. I found out that Bobby is going to go first. So the next thing I know. Bobby is going down the track he is going so fast that you can barely see him. He is showing off and just be for he crosses the fines line ……………..he gets mauled by a bear.
So after all that it is my turn well I’m going down I swear I saw penguins playing foot ball and I finish with a time of 4.36 seconds which is pretty good.
Than its Aaron’s turn he does not do so good he gets a time of 6.53 seconds.
So I get to stand on the podium and they sing are national anthem. Then they ask me what I’m going to do now and. said I’m going to go play foot ball without penguins!!!!

Days of Tears by Julius Lester
The current book I’m reading is Days Of tears.
It is a good book if you are in to drama. Because it is about slaves on a plantation and the slave owner go himself in a bunch of trouble playing cards. Known he has to sell lots of his slaves and it is a tough for the other that are not getting sold.
The character in my book are Fanny Butler, Frances Butler, Pierce Butler, Sarah Butler how owns Emma, George, Joe, Mattie. Will and Rebecca. Mistress Henfield how owns Charles, Sampson and Winnie. Rodney Denman, Jeremiah, Jenkins, Jake Pendle, Sam Ellington and George Weems how are all slave owner and businessmen. Sarah Emma’s oldest daughter Jessie Man Emma’s granddaughter how are all a latter generation
If you think that sound good than you should read it
