I can connect Sand Dollar Summer to The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. I can connect these books because they both have kids that almost have no say in anything. Bruno from The Boy in the Striped Pajamas has to go to Poland because his dad is a Nazi Commander for a concentration camp. Bruno didn’t like the move because he liked his old mansion in Berlin. Lise didn’t like the move but her mom got into a car accident and thought that it would be good for her because it was where she grew up. That is how I can connect the books Sand Dollar Summer by Kimberly K. Jones and The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne.

Some advice I would give Wallace in the book No More Dead Dogs by Gordon Korman would be Just make your teacher happy. I would say this because when he make the review, it wasn't a good review. The teacher Mr. Folgerman really liked the book so he got detention. While he helped the drama crew the football team was trying to help him because he refused to write the essay. As a result his friends didn't want to be his friends anymore. As a result he was not popular and nobody wanted him but the drama people. That is some advice I would give to Wallace Wallace in the book No More Dead Dogs by Gordon Korman.

Chapters 1-6 of the book Sand Dollar Summer by Kimberly K. Jones changes the main character Lise, because her mom got into a car accident. This changes her because she has to go to Fiddle Beach in Maine for her summer vacation. Also, Lise's mom is crippled and cant do much so it is hard for her to do stuff like walking or make dinner. That is how the main character Lise has changed in the chapters1-6 in the book Sand Doller Summer by Kimberly K. Jones.

In the book Heat by Mike Lupica I predict that Michael will get kicked out of baseball. I think this because Justin asked Michael if he was really twelve. Justin is a spoiled kid whose dad is his coach. Michael will get kicked out of baseball. I think this because Justin is a spoiled kid whose dad is his coach. Also, Justin asked how old Michael really is so I think that Justin is going to try to talk to his dad and his dad with other coaches and try to kick Michael out because of his fastball. If they can get enough coaches to sign they have to make Michael show them his birth certificate. If Michael can’t prove that he is 12 he will get kicked off the team. That is why I think that Michael might get kicked out of baseball.

I think the main purpose of the book Vietnam was to inform the reader about the Vietnam war. I think this because the book tells about the different battles and operations. Also it tells about the vehicles used in battle. Also, they use commentary from the soldiers and generals. They talk about losses from each side of the war. That is how I know the main purpose of the book Vietnam is to inform about the Vietnam war.

The book Heat by Mike Lupica is about two illegal Cubans who live in the Bronx in NYC. One is named Carlos who does the jobs because he is seventeen. The other one is Michael who is in little league and pitches for the Clippers. Michael hit a thief in the head while the thief was stealing his neighbor’s purse. Then he gets a junior citizen of the year. Then Carlos gets fired and Michael gets suspended from baseball because he throws fastballs to hard. Michael’s friend Manny gets his uncle to play as their dead father so a social worker doesn’t put them in a foster home. Michael also loses his new friend Ellie who is El Grande’s daughter. El Grande is the Yankees pitcher and Michael’s hero. That is a short summery of chapters 1-25 of the book Heat by Mike Lupica.

A Short Summary of The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyle is Bruno comes home from school and sees Maria, the maid, packing his stuff. Then his mother tells him they are moving and to tell his friends goodbye. Then they go to the train station and take a train. Then they get off the train and get into a car and then drive to a new house. Then Bruno looks out his bedroom window and sees people in striped pajamas. Then Bruno wants to build a tire swing. He asks a lieutenant for a tire and he tells Pavel the cook to get Bruno a tire and put it where ever Bruno wants it. After Bruno makes his tire swing he swings on it and falls and Pavel rushes out to get Bruno. After bandaging Bruno's cut he tells Bruno that he used to be a doctor and then Bruno's mother comes home and tells Bruno to go upstairs then tells Pavel that she did it. Then the next day Bruno went exploring. Then he goes along the fence and meets Shmuel. Shmuel tells Bruno that he is in Poland and then they learn they have the same birthday, then Shmuel has to go. Then Bruno has a tutor for a school and he doesn't like it very much. That is a short summery of what I have read in the book The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyle.

The book The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is about a boy who's father is a commandment in the Nazi army during WWII who moves to a new home in Poland from his old home in Berlin. The point of view in the book The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is first-person. I know this because I know Bruno's thoughts. I think this book would be better if it were in third person. I think this because you don't know the kid behind the fences thoughts. Also, you can't tell if Grettle likes the house. That is the point of view of the book The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyle and why I think it would be better in third-person.
