What are solutions to stop global warming?

Article posted February 2, 2010 at 08:44 PM GMT • comment (1) • Reads 1283

The effect on global warming dosen't just warm the planet in the summer, but in the winter it has horrible chilly, cold weather. Well I think I am a genius because I think we have a solution, drop a big ice cube in the ocean. Well that might take a lot of hours for our fellow scientists to make, and maybe by that time it will be to late. Of course we cannot reverse time and make things better then they are now, but I can think of ways to prevent more global warming.

1. Well everyone in the world knows this, recycle! You know most of our trash goes into landfills. Its time to make a change. Imagine a place filled with dirt and trash  where there is a red truck dumping trash in a blue thing. While in the background there are mountains of ugly dirt, and the sky is gray. That is really what some of the images I have found look like.

Well Homework to do see ya next time!

My daily life and the daily things I learn and a lot of other stuff!

Article posted January 14, 2010 at 08:42 PM GMT • comment • Reads 406

This article gives you the 101 on Mrs. Smith's class and me. Now this article gives you a 360 degree tour of my life. Now I have rules on this site and that is to enjoy it unless if your sad, depressed or angry.
My life consists of four basic elements: food, clothes, shelter, and education for now.
I think the food situation is pretty good so then I won't starve.
Nevertheless, I need clothes, and shopping for clothes is the worst habit of my mom's. She just grabs 500 jeans and 1000 shirts and says try them on. No, she doesn't really do that. I tell here what I like which is not a lot of stuff. I mostly like Tuxidos (as my classmates call them) and pollo shirts. I don't really care about what jeans I wear except the ones that look all ripped and torn off by wild animals.
My shelter situation is good. We have no serious money problems but we do try to cut back spending. We are able to pay our bills so that is the #1 thing. We have two guest bedrooms, the first one  is the main level one which we call the office because we have a computer in here(but I do have a laptop in my room but in here the keyboard feels better). Also in the office we have a TV which I watch from time to time. My favorite TV show is chuck which is on Mondays NBC at 8:00 then my second favorite TV show is the simpsons which I watch the most because it comes up on TV more often. My third favorite TV show is the middle on ABC 8:00 on Wednesdays. My favorite movie is Zoolander, my second favorite movie is Hotrod. My game systems are a DSi which I don't like, but I do like my playstation 2 that I have. Then I have a Wii which I also think is not a good game system. Then I have my laptop which is the best thing in the world. My favorite PC game is city life that is a city building game and it has a lot of strategy in it. My second favorite PC games i8s the sims 3 I bought the expansion pack world adventures with my christmas money but never had a decent time to play it lately. Although I could be playing it now....well.....no because I haven't got my math homework out of  the way. Like my stepdad says "work before play".
Blogging, of course, is not playing; it's learning how to improve writing skills, although it is fun in a way because I love talking in public or writing to the public. It just makes me feel so free.
Well, the play beauty and  the beast is coming up this march so I have been studying a LOT of my lines. I'm playing Gaston you know that dude that loves Belle and tries to marry her? Well visit Nebo.net for more info. about when the play is and who is who. The play is open to the public so please come.
So now lets talk about my school.
My school has a lot of kids. Last time I checked we had about a thousand and one. My school has some really good specials. First we have music tech and I think in georgia there are only a few other schools that have this special. Well got to go. Homework to do. Catch you later!

Sorry I haven't been blogging in a long time. I have been doing a lot of stuff lately. During the time I was not blogging I haveeither been working on my civil war project or on my microorganisims project. Anywho today is christmas eve, a time to celebrate jesus's birth. People think that this time of year is just to party and have fun, but christmas has a better meaning than that, like I said it is jesus's birthday, and he was born 2009 years ago. I also like to party but I remember that time when jesus was born in Bethlehem, and that makes me get up and do something good. Let me in on you for a little hint, New Years is the perfect time to party, then you have the total excuse to boogy down! This is JF saying happy holidays! See ya next year!

Cat or Dog?

Article posted November 13, 2009 at 05:44 PM GMT • comment (1) • Reads 570

What pet do you like, do you like dogs or cats. They are both wonderful animals but in my experience I like dogs better, maybe you want some reason why. The first reason is that dogs love being taked on walks it is so much more fun when you have a companion while walking. The downside of cats is that they are lazy they love your house which feels comforting but they are mostly boring. The second reason you should like dogs is because they are good protectors for your family. A cat is mostly scared of a situation and will run away. There are millions of other examples but here are just a few. That is why I like dog better than cat.

I am thankful

Article posted November 3, 2009 at 04:34 PM GMT • comment • Reads 993

I am thankful for everything. There are millions of things that I am thankful for, like the vikings that settled on our lands, or the presidents we had that never gave up on our freedom. Or something a little more specific? How about the pilgrims in England? They wanted religous freedom, they came to our land but they still were ruled by England, they fought for our freedom of the ten ammendments that were about to take place 70 years later, but enough with our land and freedom, lets talk about more important stuff, like how I'm thankful for my family being healthy and happy, most of the time. I am thankful for a good education and good friends. I am also thankful for my chance to do extra activities like Boy Scouts and Tennis. I am thankful for myself being happy and healthy. I am thankful for good entertainment and fun stuff that I enjoy. I am thankful for everything!

The Best Friday in My Life!

Article posted October 17, 2009 at 12:51 AM GMT • comment (1) • Reads 256

If you are reading this, you are reading Josh's Amazing Friday! Today I did something special. When I was out of school,I went to this thing called dialog in the dark which is an experience to show what blind people do in their lives. It shows how difficult it is to live with blindness. Now in this exhibition, you just don't look at posters and all that, but they cut the lights off and you can't see a thing, I mean NOTHING! You then go in a room where it sounds, feels, and well, it smells like a park! Then you go to another room which is the same thing, but it's a grocery store. Then you go to another room which is like a city, you hear a car, you feel a trash can, maybe you smell the city air! Then the next room is a marina. You go on a boat, or it feels like you're on a boat, then you sit down and you feel the air on your face, but you can't see the excitement. Then there is one last room which is a cafe and you buy a drink with real money and you drink it! Then we sit in a booth and talk about this experience. Then you walk into a room that has light! In there you write your comments about it. After that, me and my mom went to this restaurant which was called Bonefish. They had wonderful fries and that was the end of my day!
