Bacteria in our school My team and I did an experiment with testing bacteria around our school. We were curious about which part of the school had the most bacteria. After testing a computer keyboard in the middle school computer lab, door handle into our school, lunchroom tables and toilet seats, the most bacteria grew from the door handle. I predicted that the toilet seat would grow the most it was a surprise to learn door handles grew the most. Our evidence was the bacteria we grew in petri dishes! We had a few inaccuracies with our experiment. We actually had to try out experiment two times. the first time we attempted to grow bacteria, we grew absolutely no bacteria. I'm not sure why the first time we tried to grow the bacteria it didn't grow but the second time it did. I understand even though we had inaccuracies we learned how bacteria grows.
In the future I'd like to learn why the first time tried to grow the bacteria it wasn't successful.
