Oceans close to death! :( The world oceans are in great danger because of the global temperatures increasing by a third just in the last two years and the lack of oxygen in the water. Dead zones are the leading cause of our wildlife dying in the world. A "dead zone" is a body of water that has an over amount of nutrients from sewage and run-off in the water. The number of dead zones has sky-rocketed from 44 in the year 1995 to over 400! Some of those bodies of water exceeding over 22,000 sqkm!!! The areas of these dead zones include several places such as the Gulf of Mexico, South China Sea, Gulf of Finland, the Black Sea, Adriatic Sea and areas of the Caribbean. This is affecting animals that live in the ocean in a variety of ways.
I think this is very sad that are beautiful oceans in this great world are in danger because of little things that have a BIG in pact.
