Enviorments

An enviorment is a important part of an organisms life.  An enviorment has to have certain aspects or qualities in order for certain organisms to survive.  For example: Polar bears live in really cold enviorments.  They have a really thick coat that gives them warmth to withstand the cold weather.  If a polar bear lived in a warm enviorment it would get too hot and would have less chance of survival.  Enviorments and organisms both have characteristics that tie together in order for hte organism to survive.  In our lab we put different materials into 5 vials.  We put different liquids into the vials for a certain amount of time and then determined if they were living or nonliving.  Some of the organisms appeared to not be living because they didint move or grow, but when we looked at them through the microscope things had hatched from one of the materials.  It appeared to look like sand.  Some things grew in certain liquids but in other liquids they were not able to grow because of the liquid enviorment.  The enviorment did not provide what the organisms needed in order to live.
